This happens more than people think.

A fact isn’t the same as knowing. That’s the gap Google can’t close.

An herbalist is a relationship, held over time, with a real person, a real plant, in real time, over years of practice.

We are the only species that tries to live the same way in every season. Sit with that🌿

The Seasonal Being is a six month herbal mentorship for people who are craving something real. A relational practice. With the plants, with the seasons, + with the parts of yourself that have been waiting for you to slow down🌀

We move through 6 months, with access to 12 months of information. We cover one body system and one set of plant allies at a time, all based on the current season. The nervous system in one season. The liver in another. Each one has its plants. Each one has its moment.

Inside, you will find:

🌾 Live weekly teachings + medicine making
🌾 Seasonal framework with plants, food, the body, and medicines
🌾 Hand made herbal preparations shipped to your door for each season, made by me
🌾 A personal consultation with me, built into the container
🌾 A community of plant people, learning and exploring together.

Once you learn and live this information, you will have it for the rest of your life. You can share it with your loved ones, your children, your family, and your community♾️

✨We begin in August. Early bird is open through July 9th.

The first time I met vervain, it was blowing in the wind in a Sierra Nevada mountain field ⛰️

My mentor said: “There is your clue.”

The body in overdrive. Shoulders braced. Dreams disturbed. Fight or flight eating you from the inside🌀

Vervain reminds the body what it already knows. How to soften. How to come back down. How to rest without bracing for what comes next.

A nervine + an antispasmodic + a bitter. But mostly, a teacher 🤲🏼

The information never made it out of your head + into your hands 🌿🤲🏼

I’ve been an herbalist for 15 years. And so many folks who I talk too are struggling because knowing + doing are two completely different things.

Herb content is everywhere. There are monographs, protocols, contraindications, etc. You could read for years + still not know what to reach for when your body needs something 🫖

That gap between information + embodied practice is where most people get stuck. Herbalism learned in the body stays in the body. Pairing the season. Your hands involved. Something you made + used + noticed working🌀

That’s what herbalism is. A relationship. A doing. A practice.

✨If this is the gap you’ve been living in,
comment SEASON below. I’ll send you everything about how we close it together✨

It’s not an op**te, and it doesn’t act on the op**te receptors 🌱

Wild Lettuce offers a releasing. A grip loosened. A softening to an edge 〰️

We use it in our mobile first aid clinics for exactly that reason. When someone comes in holding pain in their body and bracing against it, one of the plants we reach for is wild lettuce. The milky white sap that seeps from the stem when you cut it, that’s where the medicine lives.

Reaching for the w**d most folks would walk past. Wild Lettuce might not completely take your pain away, but it’ll remind your nervous system that it doesn’t have to hold so tight 🌾

To the overlooked plants doing the quiet and real work ✊

✨If you are looking to expand your understanding with plants, comment HOMECOMING + I’ll get you the link to my free herbal community✨

As always, not every plant is for everyone. Work with an herbalist to find the best fit for you and your body. This is for educational purposes only. If you have a latex allergy, it is best to use a different plant
