The Hanged Man is a Major Arcana card in Tarot. It’s not as ominous as it sounds. Quite the rather! It’s a symbol of surrender and letting go, gaining a new perspective, sacrifice for growth, and a reminder to pause and reevaluate goals.

Sometimes we all could learn from pausing and gaining a new perspective. Besides having me feel childlike again, aerial arts is one of those things that makes me feel good every time I do it. Just got my rig up for the first time in a while… it’s a long road before I build my strength back up, but it feels worth it. And it allows me to see the world in a very different way.

This talk was a long time coming… I had my first Human Design Chart reading 15 years ago, that was a catalyst for a major transformation in my life. A natural born researcher, it had me dive into the books and learn all I could about the tool the had such a profound awakening for me.

In my life, I’ve been a professional musician, teacher, rock ‘n’ roll technician, software engineer, and life coach. But honestly, I’ve been a coach the entire time. Today’s talk felt like a declaration to the world, “this is who I am!” Today was also the first time in my life that I felt excitement getting up on stage rather than nervousness. The words just flowed. I connected with the audience. Many people came up to me afterwards, thanking me and left having learned more about themselves. This is the work I was meant for. Are you ready to take the ride with me? Let’s go! 😎

Two pictures, same me… believe it or not. I can barely believe it myself! The young lady in the first picture didn’t even have a CLUE what she was in for... She was a big dreamer living a life that she felt small in. She grew up believing in magic, but not believing in herself. She wanted more. She didn’t know how. Then she got her Human Design chart reading, and EVERYTHING changed…

This is what learning looks like… 🫣 it’s not pretty. It’s hard to be a beginner. We fail. A lot. We have a win! 🎉Then we fail, again… and again… and we get better. Until we become as awesome as my badass husband, . (…that learns more quickly than most. 😒😜🫶 He’s a patient and encouraging support, at least! 🥰❣️)
P.S. My Japanese sword work training is paying off at last!!! 🥋
