Little things can make a big difference during recovery. That's why the products I recommend are ones I trust to help support healing after upper blepharoplasty and give my patients a little extra peace of mind.

Interested in either one? Send me a message, and I'd be happy to share more information!

One of the biggest surprises about the Oasis Peel? The transformation doesn't start on peel day. It starts 8 weeks before.

Preparing your skin is one of the most important parts of the process. Before your peel, you'll use a customized skincare routine with medical-grade products to calm pigment-producing cells, stimulate collagen, and create the healthiest foundation for healing. Just as important is committing to diligent sun protection, because protecting your skin before and after the peel is essential for achieving beautiful, even results.

That's why I tell patients that a great peel isn't just about the treatment itself. It's about the preparation, the healing, and the commitment to caring for your skin every step of the way.

If you're hoping to have an Oasis Peel this fall or winter, now is the perfect time to schedule a consultation and begin your skin prep.

One of the most common things I hear from patients is, "I feel fine, I just always look tired." And most of the time, it's not because you're actually tired. It's because the skin around your eyes changes over time.

For this patient, I performed an upper and lower blepharoplasty to gently lift the upper lids and smooth the under-eye area. The goal wasn't to change his appearance. It was simply to help his eyes look brighter, more open, and naturally refreshed.

If you've noticed your eyes looking heavier over the years, I'd be happy to talk through your options with you.

One of the biggest misconceptions about skin rejuvenation is that the treatment itself is where all the magic happens. In reality, beautiful results start long before the procedure.

Preparing your skin for a deep chemical peel ahead of time helps create a healthier environment for healing, supports collagen production, and allows us to achieve the safest, most transformative results possible.

One of my favorite parts of being an oculoplastic surgeon is that there is always something new to learn. I recently spent time in beautiful Sedona at an oculoplastics meeting, connecting with colleagues from around the country and sharing ideas to help us all provide even better care for our patients. I always come home inspired, and this meeting was no exception.

One of the highlights was hearing my longtime mentor, Dr. Larry Kass, speak about deep chemical peels with croton oil. It's been a privilege to learn from him since 2019, and I continue to appreciate how we challenge each other to keep refining techniques and improving patient outcomes. His presentation on treating deep wrinkles around the mouth and acne scars was especially impressive.

And yes... you'll notice the wide-brimmed hat! I wasn't taking chances with the Arizona sun. β˜€οΈ

Not all heroes wear capes… some climb buildings with very good advice. πŸ‘€

If your eyes always look tired, heavy, or puffy, even after a full night’s sleep, it may not be something concealer can fix.

A consultation is the first step to understanding why your eyes look the way they do and what options might help. Link in bio to schedule.

(Please keep your feet on the ground when scheduling. πŸ˜‰)

Many people think droopy eyelids are just a cosmetic concern, but they can have a real impact on everyday life.

This 80-year-old patient was having difficulty reading, driving, and performing other daily activities because his upper eyelids had fallen low enough to block his vision. During surgery, I removed the excess upper eyelid skin and repaired the eyelid-opening muscle that had stretched over time.

If your eyelids are making it harder to see or you're constantly lifting your brows to compensate, it may be worth having them evaluated. I'd be happy to help you understand your options.
