🩺📜 FUN FACT FRIDAY: A DAY IN MEDICAL HISTORY! 📜🩺

🤯 DID YOU KNOW OCTOBER 16 CHANGED THE FUTURE OF SURGERY?

On October 16, 1846, a dentist named William T. G. Morton publicly demonstrated the use of ether anesthesia during surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. This milestone helped launch the modern era of anesthesia! 🏥

😳 Imagine surgery before modern anesthesia! Patients had very limited options for pain relief, and operations could be extremely painful. The development of anesthesia transformed what surgeons could safely attempt and helped make many procedures more manageable for patients. ❤️

📅 FUN FACT: October 16 is celebrated as World Anesthesia Day in recognition of this historic milestone. 🌎
