2020 has been a rough year, and as we head into “slow season” in tattooing world I just wanted to take a second to say THANK YOU!! to all who purchased pieces from my shop & commissioned me for holiday gifts, it truly is appreciated and it was so much fun creating all this art for you!! Here are some of my favorites💕
I’m back at the table tomorrow cooking up some new goodies to add to the store in the new year. Stay tuned!!

Holiday commissions are almost done!! Nothing feels better than checking things off my “To Do List”, except seeing people enjoying their finished pieces! Books will open again for commissions after the holidays, and I’d LOVE to do more. Between the looming possibility of another NYC shutdown AND tattoo slow season, I’m trying to look at the silver lining and thoroughly enjoy getting back to painting & creating more pieces for the shop. Resin pouring has been fun too, but my roots are truly in painting🖤

Trying something new today!! In general I hate things that look too “done” or “perfect” or “smooth”. This agate ouija planchette mold is the perfect opportunity to create some texture and add to the jagged-ness! This piece will have bits of (safe! not actually jagged 😂) mirrored glass sticking out of the top for a more unfinished, organic “I found this in a cave” vibe. A damn glamorous cave, but a cave nonetheless. Coming soon to the store!!

Got some new goodies up over at the store! How COOL is that iridescent blue/gold in the coasters?!! Y’all know I’m usually all about gold/black, but I’m glad I took a risk on a weird ass looking blue bc I’m obsessed with it now. Check out the whole set at katelaurelm.storenvy.com !
