During MRI Safety Week, we're highlighting an important reminder:

Respect the Magnet.

One of the most common questions we hear is...

"Why do you ask me the same questions over and over?"

The answer is simple: Because your safety comes first.

An MRI scanner uses one of the most powerful magnets found in healthcare. That magnet is always on and can attract metal objects with incredible force. Even items that seem harmless, like keys, coins, phones, hearing aids, or certain medical implants, can become safety risks.

That's why our team will ask about:
✔️ Medical implants or devices
✔️ Prior surgeries
✔️ Metal injuries
✔️ Jewelry and personal belongings
✔️ And sometimes...we'll ask more than once.

We know it can feel repetitive, but every question is asked for one reason:

To make sure your MRI is as safe as it is effective.
