Lookin' forward to the 2026 Pawpaw Festival (Sept. 18-20), where we'll be debuting our brand new PEACH MELBA SOAP!!! It's "flavored" with all the Peach Melba goodness... peach, raspberry, and vanilla! Come by and get yours before it's all gone!
Peach Melba is a classic Athens jam band from the late 90's who Smiles and I have been seeing since way back then. They're back and as good as ever! You're not gonna want to miss their Pawpaw show on Friday night (I believe it's at 11pm).
Our friend, Kevin Morgan, from kevinmorganstudio.com, made both the Space Cadet Soaps logo and Peach Melba's band logo many years ago. This Peach Melba logo (with the legs) cannot be found ANYWHERE, as all the other Peach Melba logos do not have legs. When Smiles asked Kevin for a digital file of the band's logo, he said that since it had been so many years since he had designed it, he had to (in Kevin's words) "dig way back in the archives" to find it. This one with the legs is the only one he could find, and he sent it to Smiles. He thinks it was a prototype logo design that he sketched up for them soon after the band started, but it just never made the final cut. Well, it ended up being just PERFECT to make this "collaboration logo", where the peach with legs replaces the lady with her feet sticking out of the bathtub! It was meant to be!
Thank you to all the guys in Peach Melba for allowing us to use your band's artwork for this new "flavor" of soap. We hope you love it as much as we love you all and your music! See you at Pawpaw!
