I am a stay-at-home mama, who dearly loves my family, herbal medicine, making art, and especially Jesus. I'm so grateful to do what I love and to be able to combine all of these things (art, herbal medicine and being with my family) and to be able to bless so many with soaps, salves and poison ivy tonics to heal, and sooth body and mind.

I got a really neat phone call today from a lady who was wondering if I still made zit-faced soap. Her daughter used to use it as a teenager (and really loved it) now has a teenage daughter and wanted to buy some for her. I think this makes me a soap-grandma! I mean this is now the second generation I have had the privilege of helping raise with clearer skin! I guess it had to happen eventually if you've been in the biz as long as I have. I recently passed the 18 year mark of making soap!

Just wanted to give a shout out to Carpet One Floor and Moore! Sometimes business are just amazing, and ran by people who treat everyone like an old friend! These guys have always been that to me, and have gone well above and beyond! If you need some flooring or paint or whatever, I highly recommend them. They also do restoration and mold removal! You should support them! They are fantastic!!!

I am ceaselessly amazed by God for making medicine grow right under our feet, and grateful to Him for teaching us how to use it to heal ourselves and one another!
