We're incredibly grateful to have received TWO grants recently! 🤗
The Tanner Paull Post 120 American Legion of Wisconsin provided a grant to fund our programs for women veterans. The McLeroy Family Giving Fund provided a grant that allowed us to attend a conference for women state troopers and public safety professionals, where we provided wellness education and copies of Dial Down: Holistic Strategies to Move from Chaos to Calm to each participant.
Dé, our Director of Outreach, says, “We know holistic wellness does not happen in isolation. These grants help us continue creating spaces where women veterans and first responders can reconnect with themselves, with one another, and with practices that support regenerative community.”
Jonnie, a first responder and Humble Warrior's Secretary, says, "Self-care is an essential practice for our women veterans and first responders to ensure that they are ready for duty and able to withstand the rigorous demands placed upon them. These generous grants and community partnerships allow us to bring these wellness initiatives to life for our women who serve."
We are proud to receive this impactful funding to provide connection and holistic wellness to women who serve. A very big thank you to the American Legion for their continued support, and to the generosity of the McLeroy Family Giving Fund!
