These hand written notes are everything. Daniel and the boys knocked it out of the park for Mother’s Day this year!

My favorites parts of these cards were:

Though it’s the hardest job I’ve ever had, there’s nothing better than raising a human.

We are so proud of our Oliver Warbucks!! Benji killed it this weekend in his Middle School’s production of Annie Jr! The cast and crew were amazing, and Benji has really caught the “musical bug”! allows Benji to thrive in so many aspects 🙏 Proud is an understatement

Making latkes from scratch is quite a chore. I found myself starting to get annoyed with the process. I don’t think I was in the best of moods considering the Sidney Hanukkah massacre. Then, it hit me. I must do this for those who can’t.
This is the oil that has held our people together for millennia. This is the tradition that connects us to the energy of miracles in our lives. We light the candles even in darkness. We create joy for our children so they desire to carry on the tradition with their children.
With these conscious choices, my first latke came out as a heart shaped. We must choose Love and Hope even when it’s difficult. Let’s spread Light even when it doesn’t make sense 🪬
May the souls who were murdered, and their families, be surrounded by Light and Love.

Thanks to my friends and family for making this girl feel so loved throughout my life, and now, as I’ve entered my 50th year! If I could go back and tell this little girl some things I’d wish I knew then or would learn along the way, it would be this:
1. You are beautiful and whole. Don’t ever compare yourself to anyone.
2. You are a natural giver and healer, but always take care of your needs first.
3. The rug will be pulled from under you, many times, but you will create a strong enough foundation, so it will be ok.
4. Your ride or die childhood friends will still be there as an adult.
5. Traveling and exploring the world is amazing, but the key is feeling at home and at peace wherever you are.
6. Listen to that inner voice because it will never lead you astray.
7. Your parents were right; your sisters will always be your best friends.
8. You can still seek peace and love but do not compromise yourself in the process.
9. Red hair doesn’t look good on you. Just don’t.
10. I know you thought you wanted to get married and start a family young, but once you focused on your spiritual path and inner work, you merited an amazing partner and the two of you brought in 2 special souls to the world. It’s worth the wait.
11. You will lose your father suddenly, but he will be around forever.
12. Don’t chase after people who don’t align with you or see your value.
13. You will leave California and move to a farm in Georgia. I know it sounds crazy but it’s the best thing you could’ve done for yourself and your family.
14. Appreciate your youthful innocence. And, of course, those long skinny legs and great hair.
