On World Hospice and Palliative Care Day, we're highlighting the important role hospice and palliative care play in helping patients and families navigate serious illness.

Both hospice and palliative care focus on comfort, quality of life and support, helping patients receive care that aligns with their goals and wishes. Palliative care can begin at diagnosis and alongside treatment. Hospice care is typically chosen when treatment is no longer working or a patient decides to stop curative treatment for a terminal illness, shifting the focus to comfort, quality of life and support for both the patient and their loved ones.

Introducing our incredible social worker Jennifer Fogel whose journey and dedication truly inspire us all.

With a background in corrections, she began her career supporting individuals through some of life’s most challenging moments. She then spent 8 years in dialysis care, where she continued to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and families. Today, in hospice, she brings that same unwavering commitment—creating comfort, guidance, and compassion during life’s most delicate transitions.

Her knowledge, empathy, and genuine compassion are unmatched, and the impact she has on our patients, their families, and our team is profound.

Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, has a deep love for dogs, and spends her time giving back by volunteering with local animal shelters—just another example of her caring spirit.

We are so grateful to have her on our team and to witness the difference she makes every single day.

WE LOVE YOU!
