Cast removal day after rhinoplasty is usually around 5–7 days after surgery.

At this visit, I’ll trim any dissolvable sutures, remove the cast, and check how everything is healing. Most patients still have some mild to moderate swelling at this stage, especially depending on skin thickness, but the overall shape is already starting to come through.

The good news: cast removal is painless, you can wash your hair again, start wearing makeup, and most patients feel ready to ease back into their social life within 1–2 weeks after surgery.
