Thank you for stopping by.

I'm a board certified physician in Internal Medicine and I specialize in health optimization. Most people don't go to the doctor until something goes wrong but what about going to the doctor to keep things right! I work with real people just like you who are just trying to be the healthiest they can be, age gracefully, prevent and in some cases even reverse chronic disease. My role as your doctor

is to help you learn more about your body and how it may or may not be working for you. Im not just your regular doctor and I don't practice your regular medicine. I practice a personalized form of medicine called Functional Medicine. I combine the best knowledge of conventional medicine with the most current knowledge in lifestyle medicine (i.e. nutrition, fitness, stress management etc) while applying it to your bodies specific and individual needs. I utilize specialized testing (i.e. nutritional, hormonal, genetic etc), high quality botanicals and supplements and a unique approach to help us collaboratively identify the root cause of your symptoms

One of the biggest mistakes I see people make is assuming that if something worked for someone else, it will work for them too.

Keto.
Vegan.
Paleo.
Intermittent fasting.
Gluten-free.

These can all be healthy approaches—but that doesn’t mean they’re the right approach for your body.
Your hormones, labs, age, goals, and lifestyle matter.
The goal isn’t to follow trends.
The goal is to understand what your body needs.

That’s what personalized medicine is all about.

One of the hardest parts about perimenopause is how invisible it can feel.

Women are being diagnosed with anxiety, depression, burnout, insomnia, and overwhelm… without anyone asking how their hormones may be contributing.

And for women already navigating mood disorders, the hormonal shifts of perimenopause can intensify symptoms in ways that are often overlooked.

We need more conversations. More education. More support that treats women holistically.

You are not “crazy.”
You are not failing.

Your body is changing—and you deserve care that understands the full picture.

Weight, blood pressure, blood sugar, and fatigue are all signals from the body.
Medication can help manage the numbers, but true health requires asking:

What is driving the imbalance in the first place?

That’s where lifestyle matters—your food, sleep, stress, movement, hormones, gut health, and environment all play a role.

If you’re ready to stop guessing and get to the root, book your FREE Health Strategy Call today.

Perimenopause often disrupts sleep before women connect it to hormones.
Progesterone supports calm and deep sleep.

Estrogen influences temperature regulation and brain signaling.

When those fluctuate, sleep gets lighter — and your nervous system works harder.

Poor sleep increases insulin resistance and inflammation. And metabolic health is tied to cognitive health over time.

The body follows physical laws, but hormones and adaptation determine how those laws play out in real life.

This is why I treat sleep as a core intervention—not a lifestyle suggestion.

Sign up for our Hormone Mini Course and protect your sleep now. Your future brain will thank you.

I’m seeing more women describe the same pattern: sudden anxiety, panic attacks, almost no sleep, and feeling unlike themselves. Some are already on medications like trazodone.
Many are starting therapy. And they’re asking the same question:
“Is this perimenopause?”

Sometimes the answer is yes. Sometimes it’s layered.
Fluctuating estrogen can make the brain more stress-sensitive.
Dropping progesterone can disrupt sleep.
Poor sleep can amplify panic.

And when that cycle starts, it can feel overwhelming fast.
The body follows physical laws, but hormones and adaptation determine how those laws play out in real life.

Here’s a simple triage framework:
• Therapy → when stress is high or coping tools are needed
• Psychiatric meds → when symptoms are impairing daily life
• Hormone evaluation → when anxiety tracks with cycle changes, night sweats, insomnia, or new midlife symptoms

It’s not either/or. Many women need layered support.
If your anxiety feels new, escalating, or unfamiliar—that's not something to “push through.” It’s something to evaluate.

I knew how to improve my sleep… but nothing changed until I committed.

Same bedtime.
Same wake time.
Stress management before bed.

That’s what turned knowledge into results.
Consistency is what regulates your sleep—and your hormones.

04/22/2026

Sleep is built through habits, not luck.

Track it.
Reduce blue light.
Limit screens.
Aim for 7–8 hours.

Consistency improves your hormones, energy, and mood.

Focus on progress, not perfection.
