A judge gave no prison time to the confessed killer.

The deceased girl’s brother grieving had to be restrained by several police officers as he expressedhis frustration with the injustice he feels.💔

The decision by Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Lody Jean to allow Michael McGowan, 20, to avoid prison and instead enter a rehabilitation program for first time offenders after killing Giselle “Gigi” Rengifo.

Joshua Ninos De Guzman killed Randy Martin after being involved in 2 separate officer involved shootings 🤯

If this is a officer of the year example😳 then this police department is a active threat to the citizens of Galveston ⚠️

Rockwall Police Department (Terminated in 2017)

Personnel and internal affairs records from the Rockwall Police Department (located in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex) reveal the following details regarding his early career

• 2015 Disciplinary Record: While serving as a recruit officer, De Guzman received a verbal disciplinary warning after being caught speeding while on duty in an unmarked academy car (traveling 78 mph in a 60 mph zone).

• Performance Evaluations:
Internal evaluations noted concerns regarding tactical judgment, instructing him to wait for cover officers, remain calm under stress, and avoid rushing suspects into custody ("Safety comes first, it is not a race")

Internal investigation records from 2017 show that the department sustained an allegation of misconduct after discovering he had feigned an illness and called in sick specifically to go on a vacation. Based on the sustained findings regarding dishonesty, the department chose to terminate his employment rather than allowing him to resign.
