To everyone who joined us at Long Creek 2026 Retreat weekend — thank you! 🤍

Thank you for trusting us with your weekend, your time, and most of all, yourselves.

Jon Pierson and I are incredibly grateful that you chose to spend this weekend with us and that you allowed us to create, explore, and adventure alongside you.

The retreat was beautiful but YOU all are what made the weekend what it was. The laughs, the vibes, the strength, the vulnerability, the shares. All of it.

Until the next adventure. 🤍🌿

Technology isn’t the enemy. Imbalance is.

We live in a world where technology is necessary for most of us. In fact, this very image was created using technology. But our brains and bodies were never designed to constantly receive information without time to process it.

Think about how much input you take in every day texts, emails, news, social media, notifications, opinions, videos, work.

Now ask yourself: Where is the output?

Movement. Nature. Creating. Talking. Journaling. Breathing. Thinking your own thoughts. Simply being without consuming something.

Too much input without enough output can leave us feeling mentally and emotionally congested—and eventually that stress can show up in the body, too.

Monitor your screen time. Create space to decompress. Put the phone down sometimes and give your mind a chance to wander again.

Your nervous system needs space to process what your screen keeps asking it to consume.

Thanks for coming out. Great seeing new faces and familiar. We even got in an impromptu stand up paddle board Yoga.

Rumor has it anxiety hates fresh air, movement & good company. 😉

Grab a paddle. Get on the water. Laugh with your people. Soak up some sunshine.

Sometimes the reset you need isn’t complicated. 🌊☀️

Get outside. Move. Connect. Feel better.

Stay tuned for the next paddle and social ZEN event.

Hey PTC 🙏🏼

🏄‍♀️ Quick paddle tip before we hit the water today!

One of the most common mistakes I see in stand-up paddleboarding is holding the paddle backwards and it makes sense, because the correct position looks a little counterintuitive!

The angled or “scooped” part of the blade should actually slope away from you, toward the nose of your board. Most people instinctively want to turn that angle toward themselves.

Why? That forward angle allows the blade to push water more efficiently straight behind you, giving you better forward propulsion with less wasted energy. It also helps the blade exit the water more cleanly near your feet and can reduce fluttering, splashing and unnecessary effort.

An easy way to remember it: the blade angle points forward, toward where you’re going—not back toward you. 🏄‍♀️

Little technique changes can make paddling feel SO much smoother. See you on the water! 💚

Happy Father’s Day to those who show up steady, strong, and present.

At Atlanta Zen Life, we honor the fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, mentors, father figures and moms who have had to play mom and dad, we celebrate you!

Fatherhood isn’t just about blood line or providing it’s about showing up to mentor, the life lessons, the sacrifices no one sees.

Today we celebrate those who hold space, protect peace, and remind us that strength and softness can coexist.

Take a breath today, Father figures You deserve it.

So much love to you!

What a beautiful weekend co-leading with the amazing Jon Pierson Crescent Rising Wellness Retreat on the peaceful shores of Lake Hartwell.

SO many beautiful humans who showed up with open hearts willing to learn, grow, be vulnerable, share the hard things, laugh deeply, hug tightly, and form new friendships.

There is something so powerful about gathering in community and remembering that healing and growing doesn’t have to happen alone.

We were blessed with incredible teachers who shared their gifts from yoga and foraged plant medicine to movement, connection, and restoration.
We watched sunsets, nourished ourselves with incredible food, danced, breathed, rested, and renewed.

As we closed the weekend, I shared this intention:

✨ Remember who you are.
✨ Remember to tune into your inner wisdom.
✨ Remember that we need community.
✨ Remember that you are not alone.
✨ Remember that nature can help restore the nervous system.
✨ Remember you are deeply loved.

Until next year, Crescent Rising. 🌙

More retreats, gatherings, and opportunities to reconnect are already on the calendar between now and then. Stay tuned. 💛

You were born to THRIVE not just survive.

Did you know….

FEAR is the MOST draining emotion we carry.
Not because we’re weak… but because fear keeps the nervous system running on high alert, even when life is calm on the outside.

Most people don’t realize how much energy fear steals — from creativity, joy, clarity, and the ability to truly feel alive. It’s like living with your foot on the gas and the brake at the same time.

But here’s the truth I’ve learned again and again, through adventure, yoga, breathwork, and stepping into the unknown:

🔥 Fear isn’t meant to stop you. It’s meant to shape you, challenge you, and guide you into your next season.

And that’s exactly what we’re diving into at the Crescent Rising retreat this May with myself, Jon Pierson, and other experts in the healing arts field.
In the middle of the mountains, under open skies and calm mornings, I’ll be teaching a workshop on:

🌿 Releasing fear from the body
🌬️ Nervous system regulation
🪷 Breathwork + somatic unwinding
🔥 Turning fear into fuel
✨ Stepping into your power with clarity and confidence

You’ll learn how to shift fear from something that drains you… into something that strengthens you.

If you’ve been feeling tired for “no reason,” stuck in your head, or craving a reset. This retreat was made for you.

May is your season to rise.
And I cannot wait to guide you there.

If you want details, drop a 🌄 or DM me and I’ll send the link.
