I had to learn that no food had to be the last taste but it did have to be consumed less. I love some fried fish and chicken. I use to be in this mindset in dieting that I was not allowed to have foods I enjoyed for a certain amount of time. That until I lost 20lbs, no fried foods! Placing this type of limitation set me up to fail on my plan. My diet turned into punishment. Then after meeting my goal I’m eating a bucket of fried chicken every other day (exaggerated, but you get my point). So how did I set my self up to succeed? I ate fried chicken and fish and instead of fries, I had a salad. Or if I wanted fries I had a small handful and instead of a 3 piece I have one breast piece. Even better I cut up half of the chicken breast into a baked potato. Soon instead of frying I tried air frying. And instead of taking away, I learned to add. Drink more water. Add more vegetables. Implement better snacking throughout the day so I have better control over my appetite at bigger meals. Methods, not Magic
