Let’s talk adaptogens. These are herbs that help your body adapt to stress. They don’t wire you up like caffeine and they don’t knock you out like a sedative. They meet your body where it is and bring it back to balance. Think of them as regulators. 🌿
Three to know:
Ashwagandha → Stressed, depleted, can’t wind down? This one supports cortisol regulation and that “tired but wired” feeling. Good starting point for most people.
Holy Basil (Tulsi) → The queen of herbs in Ayurvedic tradition. Lifts mood, supports mental clarity, and brings a grounding, spiritual calm. One of my go-to allies & beautiful as a daily tea ritual.
Rhodiola → Need mental sharpness and emotional staying power under pressure? Especially well-researched for people in caregiving professions.
