Yes—eventually it’s meant to feel like it belongs there.

Right after a chin implant, it’s normal for it to feel a bit “different.” There’s swelling, tightness, and your tissues are still getting acquainted with their new roommate. So early on, it can feel firm or slightly unfamiliar.

Most people reach a point where it doesn’t feel like an “implant” anymore—it just feels like their chin, but more defined and balanced.

One important note: sensation can take time to fully normalize, and that varies person to person.
