We’re excited to share a successful new collaboration!
EmWELL has partnered with the Emory Digital AI team, utilizing their innovative Qualified Chat platform for our GROSS (Getting Rid of Stupid Stuff) program to streamline our data analysis processes. Through this partnership, we have seen a reduction in time spent and a more efficient workflow for teams participating in GROSS.

We’re excited to continue collaborating with Emory Digital on projects that reduce operational inefficiencies for Emory teams!

In continuation of National Nutrition Month celebrations, we want to spotlight the amazing collaboration Emory Healthcare has with .

Through partnerships with Emory’s Office of Health Impact and .emory, EmWELL piloted a Cooking Matters series at the Northlake campus for employees. Attendees have learned evidence-based nutrition tips and cooking skills through this 7 week series, such as how to read nutrition labels, how to build a healthy meal with MyPlate, and how to choose nutrient-dense foods. 🥦🍅🫐

The series wraps up tomorrow and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate this group of employees as they graduate from the class!

Last week, EmWELL hosted a sandwich making party with employee resource groups (ERG) at Northlake to support the Northlake Employee Food Pantry and Fridge. In total, 35 sandwiches were made, which went directly into the Northlake fridge. It was a fun and quick way to get to know colleagues, while also supporting the greater Northlake Emory community!

As a reminder, if you’d like to support the food pantry, here’s how:
- Bring food straight to the pantry and fill out the donation form by scanning the QR code posted at the pantry
- Shop the Amazon Wish List (link in bio)
- Host your own sandwich making party!

The 2025 End of Year Celebration was our third annual gathering to celebrate the incredible partnerships, friendships, and teamwork that make this work possible. It was also a chance to reflect on the remarkable successes of this community in 2025 through the EmWELL Above and Beyond Awards.

The evening marked the publication of the 2025 EmWELL Impact Report. We shared a few highlights:

🎉 Interacted with 15,000 employees through training and events

🎉 Trained 127 new EmBRACE Peer Supporter

🎉 Launched 7 new well-being pilots through our micro-grant program

🎉 Resolved 57 issues through GROSS (Getting Rid of Stupid Stuff) program

There is so much more to celebrate, and we invite you visit the link in our bio to read the full report.

As a special treat, we had a sketch artist develop a sketch board throughout the evening. We encouraged guests to share a word or phrase that embodied “well-being” for the artist to sketch. He also sketched throughout the ceremony for the EmWELL Above and Beyond Awards, bringing the personalities and accomplishments of our winners to life. (More on the awards soon!)

It was a beautiful night of connection and celebration as One Emory. We are grateful for 2025 and look forward to even more progress towards workplace well-being in 2026!

We’re kicking off our first Microgrant Monday of 2025! 📚✨

Please help us in congratulating Aimee M. Abide, MMSc, PA-C, FCCM, for being selected as a 2025 EmWELL Microgrant recipient. Her project, “Caregiver-in-Healthcare – A Resiliency Program for Clinician Parents,” seeks to create a structured support system for caregiver-clinicians, help ease the personal and professional strain that comes with balancing caregiving and clinical responsibilities, create a space for caregiver-clinicians to feel seen, and lay the groundwork for a long-term, scalable model.

We’re so grateful to have her as a 2025 microgrant recipient and can’t wait to see the well-being impact her project will have across Emory Healthcare!

In celebration of Hunger Action Month, EmWELL has organized a food drive at Emory Northlake! Hunger Action Month is a nationwide movement that aims to bring people together to end hunger and food insecurity in our communities. From now until October 1st, we will be collecting non-perishable food items in support of the employee food pantry at Emory University Hospital Midtown.

There are collection bins set up in the breakrooms at Northlake. Every donation helps support the food security and well-being of EHC employees. If you can’t donate, please help us by spreading the word!

Microgrant Research Alert! 📊📚

Recently, two of our previous microgrant recipients presented their research at conferences. Lisa Landry and Ashley Kennedy, who were awarded a 2023 EmWELL Microgrant, presented research on their Serenity Room at the 16th Annual Winship Cancer Institute Oncology Nursing Symposium in August 2025. Shelly Abramowicz and Ashley Gagnon, 2024 EmWELL Microgrant awardees, also had the opportunity to present preliminary data on their project, Enhanced Stress Resilience Training for Maxillofacial Surgery Residents, at the American Academy of Craniomaxillofacial Surgeons Conference in May 2025.

Please join us in celebrating these accomplishments! 🥳
