What falls away under this Sagittarius full moon is the weight of borrowed authority. The voices outside of ourselves we have mistaken for truth, the permissions we have waited on that were never anyone else’s to grant. Sagittarius calls us back into the seat of our own oracle. We can no longer perform confidence, but it is safe to drop the masks and the pretense. The real and quiet thing beneath it all, the flame that does not require an audience to keep burning is calling us into this turning. This is the lunation that asks whether we are willing to be guided by what we already know, to trust the intelligence that has been alive in us long before circumstance taught us to second-guess it. As a Sagittarius sun, I’m often accused of meeting life with an unreasonable amount of optimism. And well, guilty as charged, though not naïvely. This is the kind of faith that has been tested, that has walked through genuine darkness and emerged still leaning toward the light, still hungry, still saying yes to the whole bewildering feast of being alive. Let what is heavy fall. Let what is luminous lead.
