I have 5 Days to reach Walk for One for as many breast cancer warriors as possible! If I hit $7,500, that covers the diagnostic process for 5 people. That's potentially life changing.

I am posing a challenge to David Kenley aka Elmo on our 2-Day Moto Crew. He and I are currently the #1 and #2 fundraisers for the whole 2-Day Crew. I am waiting on a $500 matching gift, so I gotta hustle in case it doesn't come in on time.

Just wrapped up a call with the Georgia Alliance for Breast Cancer Giving Gala auction committee! We are working overtime to make the 2024 Giving Gala a huge success!

I am actively seeking donations for both our Live AND Silent auctions. (Think: gift cards, experiences, winery/brewery tours/tastings, sporting event tickets, collectible memorabilia, jewelry, hair/nail services, bottles of fancy liquor or wine, etc.)

Of course the goal is to raise money, but no item is too small. I am the official "make it pretty" person on the committee, so I can help take your amazing donation and turn it into a full experience!

The Gala typically hosts >350 guests AND the silent auction is live to the public, so this would be a great way to get your business's name out there, too!

**Sweep Van Crew - Each van needs a driver & a navigator, so this is a super fun way to sign up with a friend! Decorate the vans, blast some fun music, and help keep our walkers safe!
**Bike Crew - Bike Crew rides alongside 2-Day Walkers throughout the entire route, including some greenspace areas where motorized vehicles are not allowed. And really, who doesn't love a helmet with b***s on it?!
**Moto Crew - Wings, Feather Boas, and Pink Chaps - Oh My!! Moto Crew assists Walkers along the route by staffing busy intersections and keeping Walkers safe. MOTO also happens to be known as the best dancers on the crew!

Howdy, Boot Scootin' Bo***es!! It is that time of year again!
Our Crew is working hard on plans for The Georgia 2-Day Walk for Breast Cancer. For our assignment, this includes opening ceremonies, the hotel "b'rest stop", and closing ceremonies. In an effort to save money for the organization, we are asking for donations of supplies from our Amazon Wish List. The list is set up so the items will ship directly to us in Tucker, but it keeps the full address private. Let me know if you run into any issues. Thank you for your continued support! 🥰

Hey there, Boot Scootin' Bo***es!
We will be celebrating Jill's birthday at The It's The Journey, Inc. Giving Gala! We are super excited because we never got the chance to show off our Roaring 20's festive flair in 2020!
There are lots of safety precautions in place to keep all attendees as safe as possible. (I may or may not have ordered a sequined mask on Amazon...😁)
We will celebrate our hard work and give away funds raised at The Georgia 2-Day Walk for Breast Cancer in 2021 to the deserving grant recipients from all around Georgia. We'll also be raising money for 2022 to ensure that these breast cancer organizations, including ITJ, can continue their work throughout the year.

Important update for our Giving Gala guests:

In an effort to protect the health and safety of our Giving Gala guests, we will be requiring proof of either vaccination and/or a negative test result within 48 hours of February 12. We will accept photos, paper credentials, such as a CDC vaccine card or a print-out of a negative COVID-19 test. Feel free to upload your vaccination card to [email protected].

However, November is Lung Cancer Awareness Month (white or pearl ribbon) and we would like for everybody to take a picture and Show Us Your Pearls! Coming off a winning Braves season, I know ALL of you have pearls now. Let's see them!

Thanks to the Braves for kicking off this VERY grassroots effort to bring more awareness, conversation and focus to lung cancer! Ok...maybe not, but now I am able to grab onto the coat tails of the Braves win!
So, as you pearl up for the Braves, I ask that you also pearl up for Lung Cancer Awareness!

Everyone knows that PINK is the color for OCTOBER and the ribbons wave brightly and proudly to show support and create awareness for breast cancer. But, did you know that white (or pearl) is the color of the ribbon for Lung Cancer and November?

There are some very startling statistics relating to lung cancer with very little money being used for research and awareness.
For the month of November, I will be sharing some stats and hopefully generating some awareness of this dreadful disease. If there is enough noise, maybe research efforts will improve.

WHAT I NEED FROM YOU:
1. I ask that you take a photo of yourself in pearls (or use one you
have already posted for the Braves) and include the picture
below.
If you can also add a little blurb to the post that reads:
November is Lung Cancer Awareness Month! Please help us
make some noise and bring more awareness to lung cancer! It
is time that more effort and more money is spent researching
this cancer, which makes up for 23% of all cancer deaths in
