Today is World Brain Day.

More than 1.3 million Americans are living with a brain tumor, and every diagnosis changes a life forever.

At the Southeastern Brain Tumor Foundation, we know that brain health means more than treatment. It means access to expert care, innovative research, supportive resources, and a community that walks alongside patients, survivors, caregivers, and families every step of the way.

On World Brain Day, we honor everyone affected by brain tumors while renewing our commitment to:
🧠 Fund groundbreaking research
πŸ’™ Support patients and caregivers
πŸŽ—οΈ Raise awareness and advocate for better outcomes
🀝 Build a stronger brain tumor community

Whether you're a survivor, caregiver, healthcare professional, donor, or advocate, you are part of this mission.

How has the brain tumor community impacted your life? We'd love to hear your story in the comments.

Today is Glioblastoma Awareness Day. Glioblastoma is the most common and most aggressive malignant brain tumor with 5-year survival rates sitting at just 7%.

At SBTF, we see the toll this disease takes on patients and the families who love them. That's exactly why we race. Every dollar raised at the Race for Research funds support, education, and the research that gives families more time and more hope.

Join us on September 19 at Atlantic Station for the 26th Annual Race for Research. Walk, run, donate, or just show up. Every bit of it matters!
