Georgia Hospital Association Nonprofit trade association made up of member health systems, hospitals and individuals. GHA serves GHA is an allied member of the American Hospital Association.

The association provides information and education on issues ranging from access to health care and clinical care updates to effective hospital management and compliance with high-level accreditation standards. From its headquarters near Atlanta, GHA represents its members to Congress and the General Assembly and before federal and state regulatory agencies.

A major step forward for rural healthcare in Georgia: Governor Brian Kemp has signed Senate Bill 111 into law.

SB 111 becomes effective July 1 and will expand the Rural Hospital Tax Credit program to include facilities licensed to provide maternal and newborn services, as well as rural emergency hospitals.

Thank you to Gov. Kemp for signing this important legislation, and special thanks to Rep. Angie O’Steen for championing this effort to strengthen access to care in rural communities across Georgia.
