for LGBTQ&A with the DA! 🏳️‍🌈 Today!!

Ahead of Atlanta Pride, join Fulton County District Attorney Fani T. Willis for LGBTQ&A with the DA - an evening of conversation, community, and connection with the LGBTQ+ community.

This community conversation will give attendees an opportunity to ask questions directly to DA Willis, learn more about staying safe during Atlanta Pride and throughout the year, understand when and how to report a crime, learn what happens after a crime is reported, and better understand the criminal justice process.

We'll also connect attendees with community partners and resources available throughout the Fulton County community.

We’re excited to add another opportunity for our community to access tood at The Grocery Spot!

Beginning Wednesdays, we’ll be open for additional shopping from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM.

No appointment is necessary. Just come by during the shopping window and register at the door for the new program that makes this additional food access possible.

If you or your family could use some help with groceries, you are welcome.💙🦋

National HIV/AIDS and Aging Awareness Day 🦋🫱🏼‍🫲🏾

NHAAD raises awareness about the need for HIV prevention and treatment strategies for older adults and long-term survivors with HIV. First recognized in 2008 by the AIDS Institute, the observance also emphasizes the importance of research to better understand the effects of aging on long-term and lifetime survivors with HIV.

More than half of people with HIV in the United States are aged 50 or older. Approximately 16% to 18% of new HIV diagnoses occurred in this age group in 2024.

Atlanta, those light, gas, and water bills can add up fast. If you’re having a hard time keeping up, you don’t have to figure out where to turn on your own.

P.O.W.E.R. Atlanta put together this utility assistance guide to help our neighbors find a place to start. Swipe through for resources in Fulton, DeKalb, Cobb, Clayton, and Gwinnett counties, along with utility company programs, local nonprofits, and statewide options. Not sure who to call first? Start with 211 and ask about utility assistance in your area. Each program has its own requirements, and funding can be limited, so reach out directly to ask what’s available and what you’ll need to apply. Save this post so you have the information when you need it, and send it to a friend, family member, or neighbor who could use some support. You never know who’s trying to make things work and hasn’t said a word.

The Fulton County Board of Health is kicking off the Atlanta Community Festival with a Block Party in the Neighborhood, bringing health, community, music, food, games, and resources together in one space. And you know we're always here for making care easier to find and easier to access.

Free health services will be available, including HIV and STI testing, PrEP navigation, Doxy PEP and education!

Whether you need a service, have questions, or just want to come enjoy the community, this is a space worth showing up for.
