Healing Bridge Clinic The Healing Bridge Clinicโ€™s mission is provide health care, at no charge, to uninsured residents of Fayette and the surrounding counties.

The purpose of the Healing Bridge Clinic is to demonstrate & communicate God's love while providing free primary healthcare. The clinic is an independent corporation organized exclusively for charitable & educational purposes. It is to operate as a comprehensive medical clinic, where qualified individuals can find access & resources for medical intervention, health education and prevention services free of charge.

This monthโ€™s Volunteer Spotlight is on Dr. Joanna Grimes! Dr. Grimes brings a rich background in family medicine and global missions to our clinic, which she joined after the closure of Fayette Countyโ€™s only other safety net clinic.

Driven by faith and empowerment, Dr. Grimes loves helping our patients discover how everyday choices transform their health, while providing uninsured neighbors with compassionate care and access to specialists. She even calls the Healing Bridge Clinic a "lighthouse in an often dark and stormy world" as a place where patients and staff alike feel deep warmth, dignity, and encouragement the moment they walk through the door.

We are so grateful for Dr. Grimesโ€™ expert care, servant heart, and the bright light she brings to our clinic family!โค๏ธ

What an incredible month of growth at the Healing Bridge Clinic! As the only remaining safety net clinic in Fayette County, September was a true milestone for our mission as we recorded nearly 2,200 total patient touches and encounters.

In just 30 days, our team completed 183 patient visits, drew 464 labs, filled 230 essential medications, and provided 66 mental health screenings to neighbors in need.

We could not manage this expanding need without the generous support of our community and the 19 extraordinary providers who volunteered their time and expertise with us last month. Thank you for standing with us to make hope and healing accessible to all! ๐Ÿ’™

Today, we are celebrating the incredible PAs who bring compassionate care, expertise, and hope to our community. At the Healing Bridge Clinic, we are beyond grateful for three extraordinary Physician Assistants who generously volunteer their time and skills to care for our uninsured neighbors:

After an incredible weekend of Hope and Healing with Fridayโ€™s Mahaffey Linkous Orthodontics charity golf tournament in Peachtree City and Sundayโ€™s Music is Medicine fundraiser in Newnan, the gifts continue to pour in to help us care for our patients. ๐—–๐—น๐—ผ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ๐˜€ ๐—Ÿ๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜€ ๐—ง๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—น๐—ฒ๐—ฑ | ๐™‰๐™ค๐™ฃ๐™ฅ๐™ง๐™ค๐™›๐™ž๐™ฉ ๐™๐™๐™ง๐™ž๐™›๐™ฉ ๐™Ž๐™๐™ค๐™ฅ board member Lisa Landry chose the Healing Bridge Clinic as the recipient of a $1000 grant. This money will be used to help us provide baseline lab testing for 10 new patients from Fayette and Coweta counties.

Thank you to Lisa and our community for understanding the importance of our mission to provide medical care to those who cannot afford it.

What an incredible night at our first ever Music is Medicine fundraiser in Coweta County. Thank you to Curious Kitchen and Bar for hosting us! The musical performances by Lance Bowen and Dueling Pianos were incredible. Thank you to our emcee, Stan Pearson, for keeping the night moving. We were able to auction off eight world class trips to raise funds for our neighbors who cannot afford medical care. We are deeply grateful to everyone who attended, sponsored, donated, and volunteered.

Two incredible events are happening this weekend, and every dollar raised goes directly toward providing no-cost medical care, prescription support, and healthcare services to uninsured neighbors across Fayette and surrounding counties.

Tomorrow, we are honored to be the sole beneficiary of The Linkous Orthodontics Open Wide Open Charity Golf Tournament at Braelinn Golf Club for the very first time. โ›ณ 100% of all proceeds will go straight to funding essential healthcare for local families in need.

Then on Sunday, October 4, join us at Curious Kitchen and Bar in Newnan for our first-ever Music is Medicine fall fundraiser! ๐ŸŽต It promises to be an unforgettable afternoon and evening featuring high-energy live performances from The Andrews Brothers Dueling Pianos, a silent auction with eight world-class adventure trips and a rare collection of Pappy Van Winkle bourbons, plus a chance to win a brand-new Samsung 85" QLED 4K television.
