So… what exactly is HCES?

HCES is a healthcare and emergency management firm that steps in where systems are stretched thin and support is needed most.

Mental Health Awareness Month is a reminder that caring for people also means caring for the people doing the caring.

Healthcare professionals continue to show up in high-pressure environments every day — navigating long shifts, emotional exhaustion, compassion fatigue, burnout, and the mental weight that often comes with serving others consistently.

At HCES, people come first.

Whether serving in travel RN assignments, psych units, correctional healthcare, emergency response, or community-based care, healthcare professionals deserve support too. Mental wellness is not separate from healthcare — it is healthcare.

Skin Cancer Awareness Month is more than a reminder to wear sunscreen ➡️ it’s a public health conversation.

Skin cancer remains the most common cancer in the United States, yet many people still underestimate how everyday UV exposure impacts long-term health outcomes. From commutes to cloudy days, sun exposure adds up over time; and awareness, prevention, and early detection all play a critical role in reducing risk.

Public health is not only about responding to illness. It’s about education, prevention, and helping communities access the information they need before a health issue becomes a crisis.

This is especially important in conversations around skin cancer, where misconceptions still exist about who is at risk, what symptoms look like, and when to seek care.
