Transparent moment:
I arrived in the city at my cousins request to take a break, (because he knew Life was lying for me) I had a cough that was anxiety triggered because of my stress and the mommy guilt of leaving my children for the weekend. I woke up to my cousin in the kitchen. It smelled soooo good I asked him what he was cooking because I just knew he was preparing me a great meal, he responded “ some tea because you are doing too much coughing and wheezing” 🤣🤣 I can’t lie I was embarrassed, but I was grateful because he was literally cutting up lemons, ginger, oranges, and anything else he had in his cabinet, and he prepared it, he said” I’m out of YOUR tea but here’s MY tea” it was at that moment that I realized that healing is definitely generational, but it’s also by example. He blessed me and I’m thankful. I am so thankful.
