🩵 A huge THANK YOU to The Rubin Center for Autism and Developmental Pediatrics

We're so grateful to the Rubin Center for being the official sponsor of our Sensory Friendly Room at this year's Buddy Walk!

Thanks to their generosity, we were able to create a calm, welcoming space where every family could take a break, recharge, and feel comfortable and included. For many of our participants, having a quiet place to step away from the noise and crowds makes all the difference in being able to enjoy the day.

The Rubin Center's support shows what it means to truly champion inclusion and belonging in our community. We couldn't have done it without you!

Thank you for helping make the Buddy Walk a day where everyone feels welcome. 🙌

For generations, people with Down syndrome and other disabilities were separated from their families and communities and placed in institutions. We cannot go backward.

NDSC is deeply concerned by the final order in Texas v. Kennedy, which weakens important federal protections that help ensure people with disabilities can receive the services and supports they need in their homes and communities.

Section 504, the ADA, and the Supreme Court’s Olmstead decision remain the law. NDSC will continue fighting to protect community living, strengthen HCBS, and ensure people with Down syndrome can live, work, and thrive in their communities.
Community living is a civil right.
