Juneteenth is more than a date in history—it is a reminder of resilience, hope, and the enduring pursuit of freedom. Today, we honor the strength of those who endured unimaginable hardships, the courage of those who fought for liberation, and the generations who continue to push for equity, justice, and opportunity.

As we celebrate, we also reflect. Freedom is not just a moment to commemorate; it is a responsibility to remember the past, learn from it, and help build a future where equality is a reality for everyone.

Juneteenth reminds us that progress often comes through perseverance, community, and an unwavering belief that a better tomorrow is possible. May we continue to uplift one another, amplify voices that have too often gone unheard, and create spaces where everyone can thrive.

Today, we celebrate freedom. We honor history and we commit ourselves to the ongoing work of making the promise of liberty meaningful for all.

Happy Juneteenth. ❤️🖤💚

Each of you has played a pivotal role in The Chiro Bar’s success! Huge shoutout to for blessing us with that delicious array of elevated hors d’oeuvres. Also, special shoutout to my girl for coming in and immediately asking “why aren’t you getting content, girly?” Then proceeding to take the reins and capture moments as I worked the room. March 10, 2025, I decided to step out on faith and leave my corporate job to focus on The Chiro Bar full time. It was an extremely nerve wrecking process. Although my vision for The Chiro Bar had already been brought to life, I continued to work for another company in conjunction with my own practice partially due to doubt. I kept telling myself that I didn’t want to leave the “for sure” money I was bringing in at my corporate job in an economy where most small businesses fail within the first year of operation. I had to realize that if God gave me the vision, He would also supply provision. Well, would you look who officially made it through one year solely in private practice. Cheers to one official year of 🥂

Black History Month serves as a time for us to celebrate the culture, the brillance and the legacy of those who paved the way for us. As we acknowledge and honor their sacrifice and bravery, may we stay rooted in resilience and continue to rise in greatness!
