it seems like more and more of the natural hair care products are being bought out by bigger companies with options, especially for our littles.

And I just refuse to buy products from my hair, let alone my daughters that has fragrance in it.

So naturally, I decided to make some flaxseed gel, which was perfect for two strand twist.

when paired with the right oil, it is a perfect way to lock in moisture. I use some on my hair last night and as you can see, it is not only a good hold, but it allows for flexibility when you wanna let your hair down at the end of the night.

Because we shouldn’t have tojeopardize our hormones for beauty.

This watermelon treat is perfect for these 90 degree days we’re been having lately.

Here’s the recipe:

Ingredients
3 cups ripe watermelon, cubed
¼ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
1–1½ tablespoons raw honey, or to taste
Pinch of sea salt (optional)
Directions
Blend the watermelon until smooth.
Strain through a fine-mesh sieve if desired.
Stir in the lemon juice, honey, and sea salt.
Pour into a shallow freezer-safe dish and freeze for 3–4 hours, stirring every 30–45 minutes.
Once frozen, blend until smooth and creamy.
Serve immediately or freeze for 30–60 minutes for a firmer texture.

I see the last video on iron is going viral so let’s talk about it.

before you even get to the supplements and the herbs we are so quick to look for a fix that we don’t even identify the things that we are doing that need to be removed and can very well resolve the issue by itself.

Matcha and other teas contain natural compounds called tannins that can bind to iron and make it harder for your body to absorb, especially the iron found in plant foods like leafy greens, beans, and seeds.
This doesn’t mean you need to avoid matcha altogether. It may simply be helpful to enjoy it between meals rather than alongside iron-rich foods.
If you’re working on improving your iron status, consider:
Drinking matcha and tea at least 1–2 hours away from meals.
Pairing iron-rich foods with vitamin C-rich foods.
Supporting healthy digestion.
Sometimes it’s not just what you eat, but when you consume certain foods and beverages that matters.
