Today, I’m reflecting on freedom.
Freedom that was dreamed of, fought for, prayed for, and passed down.
I’m deeply grateful for the freedoms that allowed me to pursue my dream of becoming a physician — a dream that would not have been possible for so many who came before me.
And I’m also grateful for the freedom that gave me the power and courage to choose myself when I was burned out. To step away from a version of success that looked good on paper but no longer felt aligned. To build something of my own.
Lifestyle Care is part of that freedom.
The freedom to practice medicine in a way that feels personal, thoughtful, and human.
The freedom to care for people with time, strategy, and compassion.
The freedom to build a business rooted in purpose, not just survival.
On Juneteenth, I honor the sacrifices that made my freedoms possible — and I don’t take any of them lightly.
Happy Juneteenth. ❤️🖤💚
