Juneteenth is more than a date on the calendar.

It is a reminder of our ancestors’ resilience, our community’s strength, and our collective right to freedom, healing, and joy.

At Half Hood Half Holistic, we recognize that liberation is not only political—it is emotional, spiritual, physical, and communal. Every time we choose healing over survival mode, rest over exhaustion, connection over isolation, and wellness over neglect, we honor the legacy of those who dreamed of a freer future.

Today, we celebrate Black freedom. We celebrate Black joy. We celebrate the ongoing work of creating communities where Black individuals, couples, and families can heal, thrive, and be whole.

May we continue to reclaim our well-being as an act of resistance, restoration, and liberation.

Happy Juneteenth. ❤️🖤💚

This Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month, we are creating space for men to pause, connect, reflect, and prioritize their well-being.

Too often, men are expected to carry the weight of responsibilities, challenges, and expectations without having spaces to process, heal, and be supported. We believe men deserve community. Men deserve rest. Men deserve healing spaces.

Join us this month for intentional gatherings designed to support mental, emotional, and physical well-being while building meaningful connections with other men.

Whether you’re looking for conversation, community, encouragement, or simply a place to show up as you are, we invite you to join us.

RSVP today using the link in our bio.

Tag a man who deserves a space like this and share this post with someone who may benefit from being in community.

If your yes is costing you your peace, it may be time for a boundary.

Join us for Session 3 on Facebook Live: Boundaries Without Guilt, where we’ll explore why boundaries feel so hard, how people-pleasing shows up in our lives, and practical scripts you can use immediately.

Because protecting your capacity doesn’t require a long explanation. It requires clarity.

Come practice language that honors both your needs and your relationships.

This special iteration of the It Takes A Village series, hosted and sponsored by Joe Family Foundation
and facilitated by Half Hood Half Holistic, is creating space for caregivers to breathe, process, and be supported too.

Join us for Session 2: Regulate Before You Respond, where we’ll explore what happens in our bodies during stressful moments and learn a simple 90-second reset that can help us pause, breathe, and return to ourselves.

Whether you’re navigating parenting, caregiving, work stress, or simply feeling stretched thin, this session will give you practical tools you can use in real life—not just in calm moments.

This special iteration of the It Takes A Village series, hosted and sponsored by Joe Family Foundation
and facilitated by Half Hood Half Holistic, is creating space for caregivers to breathe, process, and be supported too.

Come learn how to regulate before you react.

June Tribe Check-In

This month, we’re talking about what it means to protect your peace in a world that constantly asks Black and BIPOC women to overextend, overperform, and push through exhaustion.

Together, we’ll explore boundaries, burnout prevention, and the importance of honoring your capacity without guilt. This conversation is about choosing yourself, preserving your energy, and learning that rest and boundaries can exist together.

We’re looking forward to hearing from our guest speaker, Kae’Chauna, as she helps guide us through this timely and necessary conversation. .sin.tlc

Join us on June 7th at 1:00 PM (virtual) as we gather in community and care.
