In honor of Stress Awareness Month, The Land of Milk & Honey Apothecary™ hosted— From Surviving to Supported, bringing together wellness professionals, community voices, and restorative experiences for an afternoon centered on slowing down and reconnecting to the body.

As part of the experience, was invited to share his lived experience through conversation and lead a sound bowl performance that left attendees feeling restored, grounded, and connected through sound.

Cheers to witnessing artists continue to create space for honest expression, reflection, and community in ways that extend beyond the stage.

Thank you

Last night, the film Clovis Lane, directed by was presented by Department of Africana Studies at Rutgers University.

A visual reclamation of self, Clovis Lane honors not only journey, but the universal story of loss, love, healing, and return. A cinematic exploration of how pain can become purposeful—and how creativity, dialogue, and community can restore our shared humanity.

The evening continued with a conversation on creative expression, emotional regulation, and sustainable performance through sound healing and dialogue alongside our mental health professional, Roderick Singleton.

Thank you to Rutgers University, everyone who attended, and the students and faculty who created space for such an honest and necessary conversation.

Special thank you to for capturing the evening so beautifully, and to for helping hold the experience with care from beginning to end.
