There’s a reason people tell you not to make massive life decisions immediately after a breakup.

You’re hurt. You’re angry. Your confidence has taken a beating. You’re questioning everything you thought you knew about the relationship and probably replaying every conversation looking for the signs you missed.

A layoff will do EXACTLY the same thing to you.
Especially when you’ve spent years, or sometimes decades, giving a company your time, your ideas, your loyalty, your late nights, your missed dinners, your fu***ng LIFE
and then one day they decide they don’t need you anymore.

That s**t feels personal even when they tell you it isn’t. But you’ll spend a lot of time trying to process and get over it, where your HR will move on emotionally as soon as the separation agreement has been signed.

And THAT is the version of yourself you’re expecting to suddenly figure out your entire future? Find another job in a market that is already becoming increasingly difficult for experienced Gen X workers?

Or to eventually decide you’re finally going to start that business you’ve been thinking about? While you’re simultaneously trying to process what just happened and wondering how long your severance is going to last? Nope.

This is why I’m so relentless about Gen X women building a backup BEFORE we need one. Because starting something new takes energy. It takes confidence. It takes learning. It takes showing up when you don’t know what the f**k you’re doing yet. It potentially takes negotiating with impostor syndrome for the first few weeks.
And most importantly, it takes time.

I’m giving myself that time NOW, while I’m still employed, still getting paid and making the decision from a place of “this is where I want my life to go” rather than “holy s**t, what am I going to do now?”

You don’t need to build the same backup I’m building.
But you really should start building something before corporate decides when you need it.

And if you want to know what I chose, why I chose it and what I’m building alongside my corporate career, just comment BACKUP and I’ll tell you.

Thanks for attending my Ted Talk. Don’t be weird. Don’t be like Susan. Be the biggest fu***ng cheerleader your cringy friend could ever wish for. Get excited that they’re daring to dreaming big and go large.

Big Pharma doesn’t want you dead, come on Susan, that would be TERRIBLE for business -they need you alive and reliant on them.

We're not living healthier -we’re just getting better at living longer while sick. We’ve added years to our lives and somehow turned chronic illness into a lifetime subscription.

But before you come at me, don’t get me wrong - if I get hit by a car, don’t just wave a fu***ng celery stick at me - take me to a hospital.

But if I go to a mechanic because my car is rattling, don’t sell me an expensive car stereo to drown out the noise so I can own a dead car with an expensive sound system.

There’s another approach to health that more people are choosing. We’re not waiting until our body is screaming at us and then looking for something to shut it up. We’re looking at what we do every single day.

The quality of the water 💩 we drink. The food we eat. How we move, sleep and manage stress. We’re relearning how we can treat illness holistically and ideally avoid it altogether.

Because your body isn’t sitting there doing f**k-all until somebody gives it a prescription.

It’s regulating, repairing, replacing and protecting every single day. THAT is homeostasis at work.

And people are starting to become far more interested in supporting those normal processes and creating the conditions for homeostasis, rather than spending the second half of our lives trying to suppress the symptoms from losing it.

THAT is the shift I’m interested in.

Not because I think medicine is disappearing. It isn’t. But because our blind dependence on it as the first and only answer for sure is.

So if you’re a Gen X woman looking at the next twenty or thirty years - both your health and how the hell you intend to earn a living when the same corporate system behind Big Pharma decides you’re past your employment use by date - THIS shift is worth paying attention to.

I didn’t accidentally start building a business in this wellness space. I chose which side of this change I wanted to be on.

If you’re looking at the same shift and thinking, “Yep, I want to help people with this too,” message me SHIFT.

I’ll show you what I’m building.

Wanna see something gross?đŸ€ą You won’t look at your bath water in the same way ever again..

I’ve been so focused on what’s in the water I DRINK that I completely overlooked the water I’m basically marinating myself in every day. 😳 My shower. And my daughter’s bath.

Because apparently filtering the water going into my mouth while happily marinating under gallons of chlorinated water for 10 minutes every morning deserves a rethink.

And yes, chlorine is in our water for a very good reason. It’s been used to disinfect public water supplies for more than a century and played a huge role in stopping diseases like typhoid and cholera. I’m not arguing with that. No one wants a casual case of typhoid.

What I AM questioning is why I’d want to keep the chlorine around once that water has safely made it all the way to my house.

Especially when chlorine reacts with organic matter (spoiler: we're the organic matter) and creates disinfection byproducts like THMs and HAAs - these are compounds that have been studied with links to increased c@ncer risk.

In many European countries they’re already focused on eliminating bacterias before they reach our home, rather than trying to treat it inside the house with chlorine chemicals. In the US and most other countries it is still a serious issue.

We don’t only interact with our water by drinking it.
We shower in it.
We bathe in it.
We wash our hair in it.
Our kids sit in it.
We wash our dogs in it.
We water our plants with it.
Every. Single. Day.

This little experiment in this video was enough for me.
I filter the water I drink.
And now I filter the water I shower and bathe in too.

If you want to know what we’re using in our bathrooms, comment SHOWER and I’ll send you information. 🚿

Enjoy your soak!

Day 2: This isn’t me randomly deciding to become less bitchy for seven days. (although I’m sure my husband supports that)😂There’s a reason I’m doing this experiment while I’m building my corporate backup plan.

Because starting a business while you still have a corporate career will expose the s**t you’ve been saying to yourself on repeat for YEARS.

“I’m too old to start something new.”
“I’m not good on social media.”
“I don’t know anything about running a business.”
“I could never make enough money.”
“I don’t have enough time.”
“What if nobody buys from me?”
“What if I fail?”

And then we wonder why we procrastinate, second-guess ourselves, play small or quit before we’ve given ourselves a chance to get good at it.

That’s why this 7-day no-complaining challenge suddenly feels much bigger to me than just catching myself moaning about traffic or the dog barking.

I’m building something I want to eventually give me choices my corporate salary alone can’t give me.
I’m building it expecting it to work and to share the Cheat-Codes with my team.

When you come and build your own backup plan alongside me, I want you to understand this too.
Because I can give you the mentorship, the systems, the community, the business model and everything I’m learning along the way.

But if you spend every day telling yourself you’re too old, too late, too busy, not confident enough, not “salesy” enough or that this probably won’t work for you

You’re going to be fighting your own business every step of the way.
YOUR backup plan starts with the business.

But apparently, it also starts with being VERY f*cking careful about the reality you’re rehearsing while you build it.

Day 2 in the can. This experiment is already getting interesting.

08/25/2026

Day 1: What if manifestation is about being in a high vibrational ‘receiving’ state rather than broadcasting our desires daily in visualizations? And what if our negative self-talk is the block?

I’m not complaining for 7-days to see how / whether it changes me.

And it’s not as easy as I thought it would be. And I’m only on Day 1. Oooooof.

I went down a rabbit hole of David Bayer’s greatest hits on YouTube about energetic manifestation and why the constant visualization that people perform for 20 minutes a day might not be hitting the mark. And how we’re self-sabotaging all our greatest efforts.

It is MUCH harder than I thought it would be. I catch myself yelling at the animals fighting with each other and generally being loud and annoying - and realizing I need to find a different way to react.

But I’m mainly doing this to see how it helps me hit my business and health goals. My throat is killing me having to stop my natural moaning. So, not the best start.

Follow along. Posting on here will HOPEFULLY help keep me honest by completing the full 7-day experiment.

I’ll share what I learn along the way.

If you’re quibbling over whether we inhale and consume an ENTIRE credit card of micro plastics each week - or half of one - then you’re asking the WRONG questions. I don’t want my family to inhale or eat ANY plastic.

You don't need 17 "healthier" products.

You need fewer toxic products in your home. And I don’t mean just reducing the toxins - but actually removing them from your home and body. This one machine helps you to do that.

One of my favorite things about our medical-grade ionizer isn't JUST the water, which is the nicest water I’ve ever drank

It's about everything we STOPPED BUYING.

Cases of bottled water.
Mouthwash and shampoos.
Multiple cleaning products.
Plastic bottles that would pile up month after month.

When your goal is a healthier home, simplifying is often more powerful than adding another product to the shopping cart.

If reducing plastics and forever chemicals is already on your radar, I've got something for you.

I created a free PFAS Checklist that walks through common sources of exposure and simple steps you can take to clean things up without turning your life upside down.

Comment CHECKLIST and I'll send it your way.

Small actions.
Healthier home.
That's how real change happens.

Supporting my insulin resistance issue wasn’t even the reason why I started drinking this water - but it’s one of markers that I have tests to prove how it’s helping.

None of this is medical advice - it’s mine and my daughter’s experience alongside the tests and feedback from my doctor.

The internal changes from this water have been surprising and profound. And as a women with Hypothyroidism who is edging close to peri-menopause, my physical health was beyond concerning. I’m a special needs mom and corporate worker so I’m always on - and being sick is not an option. And I was getting sicker by the day.

I was suffering daily from migraines, brain fog, hair shedding, fatigue, inflammation, pain, infections and rashes - and honestly a lot more.

So for me, investing a medical-grade water ionizer wasn’t expensive compared to a life of prescription meds, co-pays, doctor’s bills, possible hospital stays, limiting my income potential when my health further declined, or reducing my joy for life.

A sick body will ‘always’ cost you more than a healthy one. And that’s a choice: You can pay for your health now - or pay for your sickness later.

What’s even better is that my choice of health prevention has also become my Corporate Backup too. I want everyone to have access to the literature and access to the water so they can experience the benefits themselves, so I’ve turned this into a high-income business so my income and employment future are no longer reliant on my corporate employer.

Your future isn't built overnight. It's built in the choices you make every single day. Including the water you and your family drink and bathe in.

If you’d like to know more about my water or the backup I’m building with corporate workers just like me - comment BACKUP.

Gen X: what if the biggest mistake you're making today is seeing health as an expense - and not an investment?

Because the way you look at that one decision changes EVERY choice you make after it.
Preventing poor health and chronic illness is ALWAYS cheaper than the cure - EVERY single time.

I’m a special needs mom, a corporate worker, and I’m building a business. I can’t afford to get sick.

So for me, a medical-grade water ionizer wasn’t expensive compared to a life of prescription meds, co-pays, doctor’s bills, possible hospital stays, limiting my income potential when my health further declined, or reducing my joy for life.

A sick body will ‘always’ cost you more than a healthy one. And that’s a choice: You can pay for your health now - or pay for your sickness later.

[Spoiler:] None of us are going to live forever. The trick is to make sure we live the fullest life while we’re here.

Big Pharma has taught us to calculate the cost of supporting our health, but not the value of it. Health isn't something I want to appreciate only after it's gone. I'd rather invest in it while I still have the chance.

And if I DO get laid off this year that is NOT a time when I need to be worrying about my health or a medical emergency.

What’s even better is that my choice of health prevention has also become my Corporate Backup too.

Your future isn't built overnight. It's built in the choices you make every single day. Including the water you and your family drink and bathe in.

If you’d like to know more about my water or the backup I’m building with corporate workers just like me - comment BACKUP.
