Being a true family business makes creative schedules and planning a bit interesting when your niece/intern, the daughter of your sister/pharmacy technician gets married 12 hours away with the flower girl’s mama/pharmacist and another niece/clerk as maid of honor all take part in the festivities. I am truly blessed to have the best family and the best “pharmily” supporting Davis Drugs for our community.

Thank you to all the pictured past, present and future pharmacy staff and especially the rest of the pharmacy team that kept everything running while we were away. I wouldn’t want to do any day without each one of you.

Our friend and neighboring independent pharmacy has a milestone anniversary today. Congratulations on 10 years of serving your community. The people create the passion for caring that can’t be duplicated from when a pharmacist has grown up in a community.

As I reflect on the past decade, my heart is filled with gratitude. Thank you to every person who has walked through our doors, trusted our independent pharmacy, and allowed me to be a small part of your healthcare journey.

Whether you’ve come to us with a prescription, a question about a medication, a concern about a loved one, or simply needed someone to listen, it has been an incredible honor to serve this community. Your trust means more than I can ever put into words.

Independent pharmacies are built on relationships, not just prescriptions. We know your names, celebrate your victories, support you through difficult times, and truly care about your health and well-being. That’s what makes this more than a job—it’s a calling.
