We are excited to announce that all Labor & Delivery rooms at East Alabama Medical Center now offer the Novii™+ Wireless Patch System — giving our patients greater comfort, flexibility and freedom during labor while continuing to provide advanced baby monitoring!

This wireless, beltless technology allows moms to move more freely, change positions, rest comfortably and even shower during labor without being restricted by traditional cords and monitors. By encouraging movement throughout labor, the Novii™+ system helps create a more comfortable and flexible birthing experience while supporting safe, continuous monitoring.

We’ve also expanded this technology into OB Observation for patients who require extended monitoring, further enhancing the care, support and comfort provided to women in this unit. EAMC is excited for this new addition to better serve our patients!

Stopped by Lee OB today and saw my updated childbirth class flyer hanging up, so I figured I’d share here too 🤍

“Childbirth & Beyond” classes through Magnolia Families will have updated summer dates coming soon.

These classes are designed to help families feel informed, prepared, calm, and supported heading into birth, postpartum, and those early newborn months. We cover realistic hospital birth expectations, unmedicated and medicated birth education, labor support, postpartum recovery, newborn care, and even a little newborn sleep along the way.

We recently updated the flyer/sign-up process because the QR code was not working well with cell service in the building, so now you can simply text the number on the flyer for details and registration info 🌿

I’ve had several people ask lately if I’m still taking sleep clients… and the answer is YES 🤍

I never stopped helping mamas, just got a little quieter on here while figuring out my relationship with social media 😂

Behind the scenes, I’m still doing what I love… helping families get rest, feel confident, and actually enjoy this season a little more
