Meet Randy, one of the newest members of the Healthbridge Global team! 👋

Randy joined Healthbridge Global in June 2026, bringing with him many years of ministry experience and a heart for serving others. Before joining HBG, Randy and his wife, Jan, served on staff at FamilyLife, a ministry of Cru. 🤝

Randy and Jan grew up in Central Illinois, met at church, and were married in 1976. Today, they are blessed with four married sons and 23 grandchildren! Their family’s legacy of ministry continues through their sons, who are all involved in full-time ministry, and through their older grandchildren who seem to be following in their footsteps. ❤️

Throughout their lives, Randy and Jan have faithfully served in their local churches in a wide variety of roles. They love serving others, and marriage ministry remains especially close to their hearts. Through a good friend, they learned about Healthbridge Global and quickly became excited about the projects HBG is helping complete around the world. 🌍

Healthcare is also especially meaningful to their family because of Jan’s career as a pediatric occupational therapist.

An unfinished building in Pokhara, Nepal, is becoming something beautiful. 🇳🇵

Ark of Hope is a future multi-specialty community healthcare clinic and discipleship center led by Peter and Dr. Roni Gurung.

The structure is standing.🏥
Limited eye care has begun.👓
The next step is completing the interior so the clinic can fully serve patients and families with compassionate care and gospel hope.✝️

This is more than a construction project.

It is a future place of healing.
A place of dignity.
A place where healthcare becomes a bridge to the hope of Christ.

In the heart of Central Asia, families facing illness often have nowhere close to turn. Remote terrain, limited access to care, and a strained healthcare system leave many mothers, fathers, and children without the help they need.🤍

Through a partnership with a Christ-centered clinic, Healthbridge Global is investing in medical technology, equipment, and training that strengthens local providers and improves care for families in need. 🏥

This work matters deeply in a region where the physical and spiritual needs are both great. In a place where open faith can carry real risk, compassionate healthcare becomes a powerful witness.🕊️

Meet Jamie! 👋

Growing up in a military family, Jamie became familiar with adventure early on, moving to a new city every few years. One of her favorite places was Cairo, Egypt, where she lived during middle school and first discovered her love for exploring new cultures and connecting with people from different backgrounds.

Jamie now serves at Healthbridge Global as our Project and Partner Discipleship Lead, bringing together her experience in administration and project management, her time volunteering with Gospel-centered organizations in Romania, and her love for Jesus, people, and checking things off a list. ✅

She is servant-hearted, an encourager, and passionate about Healthbridge Global’s mission to use dignified healthcare as a practical way to connect people with the hope of the Gospel.

Outside of work, Jamie enjoys road trips, sports, spicy food, time with family and friends, and driving with the music up and the windows down.

Kibuye Hope Hospital is caring for a growing number of patients as war in DR Congo drives vulnerable refugees across the region. With Ebola reported in neighboring countries, the hospital staff face increased risk and pressure as they continue to serve.

To date, there are no reported cases in Burundi. Please join us in praying for protection, endurance, and unity for the team at Kibuye Hope Hospital as they care for every patient God brings through their gates. 🙏

Meet Carter, our new Director of Strategic Relations at HealthBridge Global! 👋

Carter brings decades of experience as an entrepreneur, professor, consultant, and social enterprise leader. From launching ventures of his own to co-founding Rwanda’s first strategy consulting firm, he has spent his career helping people and organizations use their best gifts to serve those who need them most. 🌍

In his role at HealthBridge, Carter invites partners to join our mission of addressing the health of the vulnerable with the hope of the Gospel. 🤝

Originally from Southern California and now based in Nashville, Carter and his wife, Kerry, have spent 15 years living and serving in diverse cultural contexts around the world. Outside of work, Carter enjoys kayaking, fishing, soccer, and playing the mandolin. 🚣‍♂️🎣⚽🎶

LIFE Medical Center is much bigger than walls, windows, and rooms. It is the culmination of decades-long vision and work.

This full-service, life-affirming maternity hospital will deliver four layers of impact:

- Saving babies through an ever-broadening pro-life reach 🤍
- Reshaping women’s healthcare with compassion and dignity 🌿
- Forming a new culture among doctors and healthcare providers 🩺
- Engaging the broader culture with conviction, beauty, and hope around the sanctity of human life ✨

Happy Birthday to Pastor Paul! 🎉

God has given Paul a rare gift for building relationships, making meaningful connections, and pointing people to the hope and healing only Jesus can bring.

With 20 years of faithful service in the local church and a heart for mission work close to home and around the world, Paul is driven by a deep conviction for sharing the hope of the gospel. You can see this in the way he joyfully serves as a pastor at his local church in Knoxville and generously gives his time, talent, and treasure to the mission of Healthbridge Global.🙌

Since his birthday falls on Mother’s Day this year, we know he’d be the first to shine the spotlight on the incredible mothers in his life: his mother; his wife, Marianne, with whom he raised two beautiful daughters; and his daughter, now a mother to his precious grandchild. 💐
