ARTAIRA® is designed differently than traditional venous or lymphatic compression therapy.

Using targeted, high-pressure sequential compression, ARTAIRA helps support arterial blood flow and circulation to the lower extremities for patients managing Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD).

In this video, we highlight how ARTAIRA works through multiple physiologic mechanisms to help support:
✔ Increased arterial inflow
✔ Improved oxygen delivery
✔ Enhanced tissue perfusion
✔ Support for wound healing and limb preservation

May is Mental Health Awareness Month.

Living with chronic conditions like lymphedema, lipedema, Chronic Venous Insufficiency (CVI), or Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) often involves more than physical symptoms alone. Daily management, discomfort, lifestyle adjustments, and ongoing care routines can also affect emotional health and overall well-being.

Mental health is an important part of patient care.

Whether it’s taking time to rest, reaching out for support, building sustainable routines, or simply acknowledging the challenges that come with chronic illness — every step matters.

At AIROS Medical, we believe healthcare should support the whole person, both physically and emotionally.

You are not alone.

A deep breath does more than help you relax.

Deep breathing helps create pressure changes in the chest that support lymphatic flow throughout the body.

Simple habits like:
• Deep breathing
• Stretching
• Gentle movement
can all help support circulation and lymphatic wellness as part of a healthy daily routine.

For patients managing lymphedema, these daily habits are often combined with compression garments and pneumatic compression therapy to support long-term care and consistent management.

AIROS Medical compression systems and garments are designed to help patients integrate therapy into everyday life — supporting movement, circulation, and consistent at-home care.

Wisdom Wednesday: Your Questions, Answered by our Clinical Team

How do I find a lymphedema specialist or therapist in my area?

For lymphedema therapists:
Look for CLT-LANA certification - this means they're properly trained in lymphatic care.

Check the LANA-Lymphology Association of North America website - they have a therapist finder tool.

Ask your doctor for referrals - many oncologists and physical medicine doctors know good lymphedema therapists.

For medical specialists:
Vascular surgeons - for venous insufficiency and some lymphatic surgeries

Plastic surgeons with lymphatic training - for LVA surgery and lymph node transfers

If you need help finding a qualified therapist, reach out to us, we are here to help!

Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) is often underdiagnosed because many patients don’t experience the symptoms they expect.

In this video, John Evans, DPM shares insight into how PAD can progress silently — and why earlier awareness and intervention are so important for patients at risk of serious vascular complications.

ARTAIRA is designed to support patients living with PAD and arterial insufficiency through noninvasive arterial compression therapy that may help support circulation and tissue perfusion.
