Some days in practice are heavier than others. Losing a patient is hard.

As chiropractors, we’re given the privilege of caring for people over months and sometimes years. Somewhere along the way, they become more than a name on the schedule. We get to know them. We hear about their families. Their struggles. Their victories. The things they’re looking forward to and the things they’re trying to get through.

We celebrate when they’re doing well. We hurt with them when life gets hard. We watch their children grow, hear about new jobs and new babies, and walk alongside them through some of life’s biggest changes.

Sometimes, we have to grieve their loss. Today is one of those days that reminds us just how much of a privilege it is to be invited into someone’s life through what we do.

To the patients we’ve cared for over the years, past and present, please know that you leave an imprint on us, too. You become part of our story. Part of our Village.

And some people will always have a place here, even when their final chart note is empty. 🤍

Update! Thank you, Village! We were referred to an architect who was able to talk with us today and we’re in process of seeing if he can help us!

Here's to raising a little boy who knows what it means to have a village... and to building one for everyone who walks through our doors.

Our dream has always been to build more than a chiropractic office. We want to create a place where families know one another, people feel safe, and community isn't just something we talk about; It's something we live.

When Mommy and Daddy are busy taking care of patients, there's a pretty good chance our Director of Fun will walk up to the nearest friendly face with a juice box in hand and ask for help opening it, completely convinced that everyone there is one of "his people."

And honestly... We hope he's right.

We haven't even opened our doors yet, but we have a feeling this shirt is going to fit him perfectly.

"Raised by The Village." That has a pretty good ring to it.

It's officially official when your business name is on a toddler T-shirt, right?
