It’s been a busy week at Augusta Inpatient Hospice Home! 💙

On Sunday (12/14), we hosted a fundraising Concert and Silent Auction to help spread awareness in our community.

On Tuesday (12/16) and Friday (12/19), we opened our doors for First Look/ Open House events, welcoming visitors to tour the building and support patient needs.

-The Fun Stuff:
Our business cards and rack cards have arrived and they look amazing! Check them out.

Renovation Progress:

Big changes are happening at
2512 Wrightsboro Road! Here’s what’s new:

1) A brand-new black roof has been installed, a sleek upgrade from the old red one.

2) The old wood flooring, baseboards, and cabinets have been removed. In their place, we now have new crown molding, baseboards, cabinets, and countertops.

3) By adding two walls to the back of the building,
a conference room and chapel have been added.

4) Our 15-year-old water heater has been removed, and a tankless water heater will be installed next week.

5) The front parking lot is about to get a complete makeover with new concrete paving.

6) The entire building has been electrically rewired for safety purposes. Our fire inspection is pending.

7) City permits are being pulled in regard to the addition of the 6 patient rooms to the back of the building.

8) In the coming weeks, the entire building (inside and out) will be painted, and a brand-new kitchen is on the way!

-Licensing & Accreditation:

1) After submitting 47 pages of application and documents to the Secretary of State, we’re THRILLED to share that we are now officially recognized as a CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION!!

2) We’ve also submitted 27 pages of paperwork to the IRS to apply for our
501(c)(3) nonprofit status.

3) Since approval can take several months, we're SO EXCITED to share - We have partnered with the CSRA COMMUNITY FOUNDATION!!
This will allow us to begin fundraising and even better, donors can now receive tax deductions for their contributions.

As we progress in the coming weeks, we will work hard to keep you updated.
