There are so many things that you should know about running a juice or smoothie bar. Listed are my top 5 and I’d love to elaborate on each of them.
#1- If you’re new to the smoothie & juice bar industry and you’ve never had any type of experience you must know that it’s hard to find mentors that are willing to share valuable information with you. For some reason during my journey I found that no one really wanted to share information. A lot of what you learn will be through trial and error.
#2- Establishing the Vision & Mission of your company will keep you in alignment with where you’d like to see your business go. It keeps you from saying “yes” to opportunities that you really don’t want!
#3- There is no “I” in” Team”! Running your business alone will cause you so much stress and headache.
#4- From the jump it’s important to know that you’ll need to “hire slowly & fire quickly “! When employees are not a help to you in your business and they have their own motives that aren’t in alignment with your company’s Vision you must get rid of them fast. Don’t be anxious to hire anyone. Take your time
#5- Always have an Attorney or Real Estate Agent to review leasing agreements this move can save you thousands of dollars!
