A lot of women start noticing changes as they get older and assume they’re just supposed to live with them.
Some of these symptoms do become more common with age, but that doesn’t mean age is the only thing worth looking at.
In my practice, I’m also thinking about hormone changes, thyroid function, insulin resistance and metabolic health, digestive health, nutrient status, sleep, medications, and how those pieces may be interacting.
Sometimes hormone support is part of the answer. Sometimes it isn’t.
The goal is to understand what may be contributing so we can choose treatment that makes sense for you.
