Sitting all day? Your body can tell.
If you’re logging 8+ hours at a desk, tight hips, stiff neck, and an aching back aren’t random—they’re patterns.

These 4 moves help undo it:
✔️ Thread the Needle (open up your upper back)
✔️ Cat Cow (restore spinal mobility)
✔️ Neck Release (relieve built-up tension)
✔️ Hip Flexor Stretch (counteract all that sitting)

Think of this as your daily “reset” button. 🔄
Save this for after work—you’ll thank yourself later.

Your calves aren’t tight. They’re undertrained. 😤

Every stride, you absorb 3-5x your bodyweight. If your calves can’t handle that load, they stay locked up trying to keep up. Foam rolling and stretching feel good for a minute, but they don’t fix that.

The real fix is building strength, not lengthening the muscle.

Red light therapy: not just a trend, this is science-backed healing at the cellular level 🔴✨

Here’s what’s actually happening beneath the surface:
Red and near-infrared light pe*****te the skin to reach your cells, specifically your mitochondria (aka your body’s energy producers.)
This light stimulates ATP production (energy), which helps your body repair, regenerate, and function more efficiently.

Translation? Your body heals better. Faster.

✨ Benefits you can feel:
• Helps with nerve-related symptoms
• Boosts skin health + collagen production
• Reduces pain + inflammation
• Speeds up muscle recovery
• Improves circulation + tissue repair

And the best part? It’s non-invasive, relaxing, and works for everyone — whether you’re dealing with chronic pain, recovering from workouts, or just want to support overall wellness.

Your body already knows how to heal. This just helps do it better.

You might be blaming the wrong thing for your running pain.

Hip flexors don’t get nearly enough attention until something goes wrong. And when they’re tight or weak, they have a way of creating problems that show up somewhere completely different.

Here are three signs yours might be the culprit:
💥Your low back hurts after long runs. Tight hip flexors pull your pelvis forward, which puts extra pressure on your lumbar spine. A lot of runners chalk this up to mileage. Sometimes it’s really a hip issue in disguise.
💥Your stride feels short and choppy. You need full hip extension to get power out of every step. When the hip flexors are restricting that range, your glutes can’t do their job and your stride pays for it.
💥You feel one sided pain after every run. If one hip always feels off or you keep pulling the same spot, that asymmetry usually has a root cause. Your body is working around something.

The good news: this stuff is really fixable, but stretching alone usually isn’t enough. You have to figure out why the restriction is there. That’s exactly what we look for in an initial exam. Come in and let’s figure it out together!
