There are a lot of different ways to coach nutrition.

None of them are inherently right or wrong, but over the last few years I’ve become really clear on the kind of coach I want to be.

I don’t want to hand you a meal plan you’ll follow for two weeks.

I don’t want to shame you into being “more disciplined.”

And I definitely don’t want you leaving our conversations more afraid of food than when you came in.

I want you to understand your body, stop stressing about the things that don’t deserve your attention, and build habits that actually fit your life.

Because if your nutrition plan only works when life is calm, it’s probably not the right plan.

If that approach sounds like what you’ve been looking for, I’d love to help.

You can learn more about working with me through the link in my bio, or send me a DM if you’re wondering whether we’d be a good fit.

One of the most common objections I hear from women who are thinking about working with me is some version of:

“I know I need help… but now just isn’t a good time.”

And listen, I get it.

You’re waiting for life to feel a little less chaotic. Like there’s finally enough breathing room to focus on yourself.

But here’s what I’ve noticed after doing this work for years. That magical “better time” rarely just shows up.

Life keeps life-ing. Kids still need things, work stays busy, and stress doesn’t magically disappear.

And before you know it, months or years have gone by and you’re still putting yourself last. I think one of the biggest lies moms believe is that taking care of themselves only counts if they can do it perfectly.

Like unless you can meal prep every week, work out consistently, drink all your water, hit your protein, and get 8 hours of sleep… why bother?

But that was never the goal. The goal is learning how to take care of yourself inside your real life.

And sometimes that starts with simply knowing where to focus.

Because some women already know the basics but struggle to stay consistent. Others are so overwhelmed by conflicting nutrition advice that they don’t even know what matters anymore.

That’s a huge part of what I help with.

Cutting through the noise and simplifying things.

If that sounds like what you need, comment GUIDE and I’ll send you my free Balanced Plate Guide. It’s one of the simplest ways to start making nutrition feel less overwhelming.

Someone asked me this week if meat sticks are basically “cancer sticks,” and it perfectly captured something I’ve been noticing more and more.

Social media has a lot of women terrified of food.

To be clear, this doesn’t mean there’s zero science linking high intake of processed meat with increased cancer risk. There is evidence there, particularly when intake is frequent and overall diet quality is poor.

But this is where context matters.

Risk is not determined by one ingredient or one convenience food in isolation. It’s shaped by your overall dietary pattern, lifestyle habits, frequency, and dose.

This is why I keep saying we need to zoom out.

I’m far less concerned about the occasional meat stick than I am about the big-picture habits I see affecting women’s health every day: under-eating protein, skimping on fiber, chronic stress, poor sleep, and constantly swinging between restriction and overeating.

That’s the stuff that actually moves the needle.

Convenience foods are not automatically unhealthy, and they definitely don’t disqualify you from having a healthy diet.

In fact, for busy moms, convenience foods can sometimes be the very thing that makes consistency possible.

That’s exactly why I teach a balanced plate approach.

Instead of obsessing over every ingredient label, I’d rather help you focus on the basics: building meals with enough protein, fiber-rich carbs, healthy fats, and produce so your body actually feels supported.

If that sounds like something you need, my Balanced Plate Guide is a great place to start. It’s free and gives you the exact framework I use with clients.

Comment PLATE and I’ll send it your way.

The Little Things are back ✨

Every month I share a handful of things I’m loving lately. Nothing life changing, just small stuff that’s been making my days feel a little better, a little cozier, or a little more fun.

June’s list includes a new hair hack, my go-to approach for meal prep, and my favorite way to spend time with Mike. You know the drill.

Every month I share a handful of things I’m loving lately. Nothing life changing, just small stuff that’s been making my days feel a little better, a little cozier, or a little more fun.

May’s list includes a new hair hack, a TV show I can’t stop thinking about, and a meal I’ve been eating on repeat. You know the drill.

Tomorrow’s the day!

I’ll be hosting my free workshop, The First Year Back, where we’re going to talk about why going back to work after having a baby feels so hard and what actually helps.

We’ll be covering things like:

- energy + physical capacity
- identity shifts
- boundaries + support systems
- and how to make this season feel a little more manageable

If you’re in that first year back right now, or getting ready to head back soon, I’d love to have you there.

And if you can’t make it live, no worries, everyone who registers will get the replay afterward.
