First day back in the studio 16 months postpartum! ❤️

Of course, I’ve been working out at home, at the dorm with my girls, at the Pilates studio and at Lifetime. But I’m officially back at GoddessFit on Friday mornings with clients.

I have a 6am spot on Friday open, starting next week. Message me if you want it! 💪🏻

I love working out and training in this space, so I had to get in a good workout while I was there yesterday. I needed a quick total-body strength workout: I only had 30 minutes, so completed this circuit 3 times!

Total-Body Circuit ❤️❤️❤️
1. Chest Press 6 reps
2. Split Squat 6 reps each side
3. Upside Down Roll-up 6 reps
4. Bent-over Row 6 reps each side
5. TRX Semi-Circle 5 each direction
6. TRX Runners 10 each side
7. Crisscross Pull + Curtsy Lunge 6 reps each side
8. Side Squat to Side Extension 15 each side
9. Table-top Side Kicks 15 each side

My weekly Pilates sessions with Nancy are my fav! ❤️ I don’t have a lot of me time these days, which makes me appreciate these sessions even more! We’ve been working on adding in the advanced reformer exercises. This week, I tried the big back bend for the first time: it was super challenging! Today was my first time taking Taika out in her jogging stroller, and she loved it! Feels good to run again!! 🏃🏼‍♀️❤️ I stopped running about 6-weeks pregnant, because it didn’t feel good for my body. It’s been a year and 4 1/2 months since I ran last: I was super happy to run my 1.8 mile postpartum walking route. It took me 20-minutes, and I’ll only made a couple of stops for traffic and a couple to pick up her sippy cup! Veronica’s Fit Life

I’m teaching SUP Yoga 🏄🏼‍♀️🧘🏼‍♀️ this Sunday, August 7th at 10am: I’m super excited to sub for Jackie Ey! ❤️

I haven’t taught since last season, when I was 20 weeks pregnant. This season, I couldn’t commit to my normal Monday evening class, because it interferes with Taika’s bedtime routine.

I did have a chance to practice my yoga wheel a few weeks ago. Don’t worry, we’ll clip into the floating studio for class, so we won’t spin like I did in this video!
