Welcome to Into The Multiverse, where we believe mushrooms can actually save the world, and that if humans mirrored the magic and wisdom of the fungi kingdom, we'd have a far more joyous and connected planet. 🍄

94% of participants called this "the most unusual consciousness experience of their entire lives."

Scientists just published exactly how p$ilocyb1n changes the brain. They tracked participants with brain scans and found that within just one hour, connectivity shifted in ways that predicted how people felt a month later.

When done correctly, in the right setting with guidance, p$ilocyb1n can leave a lasting positive imprint on your brain for the rest of your life.

Sometimes death has a way of forcing a collective consciousness to the lessons your life represented. Sometimes in a more powerful way than when you were actually living.

That cloud-like p**f isn't its final form… Young Lion's Mane (Hericium erinaceus) starts as one dense, compact mass before its signature spines fully elongate and droop.

Early on, those teeth are packed so tightly together that the whole fruiting body reads as one soft, round cumulus cloud instead of individual icicle-like strands.

Give it a few more days and gravity takes over; the spines lengthen, separate, and start cascading down into the shaggy 'mane' look it's named for.

Basically caught it mid-inflation 🍄☁️

They gave mice the equivalent of 65 human years… and a dose of p$ilocybin. What happened next is wild: new hair growth, slower aging, and a serious jump in survival. 🍄

The research on this compound is only getting started, and it's getting harder to ignore.

Imagine eating a mushroom and seeing tiny, inch-tall people marching across your living room. 🍄✨

In Yunnan Province, China, a rare and mysterious mushroom sold in local markets is known to cause a super specific hallucination: visions of miniature human figures roaming around.

What makes this wild is how consistent the trip is across different cultures and regions. A rarity when it comes to psych-d3lics. Even wilder? Scientists still don't fully know what chemical compound causes this unique reaction, and with over 95% of fungal species still undiscovered on Earth, who knows what other strange properties are hiding out there? 🧠🌱

"Scientists used a rabies virus to study p$ilocyb1n. Here’s what they learned.

Rabies is uniquely good at jumping between neurons, letting researchers trace exactly where psilocybin travels and what it changes. p$ilocybin weakens the feedback loops in your brain’s outer layer that fuel repetitive negative thinking, and strengthens the circuits that connect perception to action

What actually happens in your brain on a high dose of psil0cyb!n? 🍄

Researchers scanned first-time participants before, the day after, and one month after a single high dose. Within an hour, brain activity became more chaotic and complex than usual, and that increase predicted lasting improvements in mood a month later.

At the same time, white matter connecting the prefrontal cortex to deeper brain regions began restructuring, while participants also showed measurable improvements in cognitive flexibility, making it easier to adapt when the rules changed.

Remarkably, 94% of participants described it as the single most unusual conscious experience of their lives. The effects didn't simply disappear when the trip ended. The study found lasting changes in both brain structure and function, offering insight into why a single psychedelic experience can have enduring psychological effects.

"Mu$hroom$ are some of the only medicine to truly stand the test of time. Otzi and I would have been friends I think…

The ancient wisdom of functional, non-p$ychoactive mu$hrooms is undeniable with this evidence uncovering Otzi’s body and what he was fossilized with. This is the oldest direct evidence we have of a human carry fungi for functional use. And it’s a big deal 🍄, because it gives direct evidence to the original use of fungi as medicine.

Mu$hrooms are making their way into mainstream western culture, but they’re really just making their way BACK into the human diet and medicine cabinet."

🍄 Reishi: The "Mushroom of Immortality" 🍄

Used for 2,000+ years in traditional medicine, Reishi is having a major moment, and for good reason. Here's why people swear by it:

1️⃣ Calms the nervous system - known for helping the body shift into "rest mode," making it a go-to for evening wind-down routines.
2️⃣ Supports better sleep - many people notice improved sleep quality with consistent use over time.
3️⃣ It's an adaptogen - meaning it may help your body handle stress more effectively, day to day.
4️⃣ Packed with antioxidants - reishi is rich in compounds that support overall immune health.

🌙 The key here is consistency. Give it time, and you may notice your nervous system settling and your ability to handle stress improving.
