🦴 Understanding Fractures: Protect Your Bones! 🦴

A fracture is a break in a bone, which can happen due to injury, overuse, or weakened bones. Knowing the types, prevention, and treatment can help you stay safe and recover faster.

Common Types of Fractures:
1️⃣ Closed Fracture – Bone breaks but the skin stays intact.
2️⃣ Open (Compound) Fracture – Bone breaks through the skin.
3️⃣ Stress Fracture – Small crack from repetitive use.
4️⃣ Comminuted Fracture – Bone breaks into several pieces.
5️⃣ Greenstick Fracture – Bone bends and partially breaks, common in children.

Prevention Tips:
✅ Wear protective gear during sports
✅ Prevent falls – clear walkways & use safe footwear
✅ Get enough calcium & vitamin D
✅ Stay active with weight-bearing exercises
✅ Treat bone weakness or osteoporosis when needed
