There is a Medicaid program for individuals with disabilities that most Austin families have never heard of. It does not get the attention it deserves.

CLASS. Community Living Assistance and Support Services. It supports individuals diagnosed with a qualifying disability who need community-based services to remain living at home.

This is not an institutional program. It is the opposite. It is built to keep people in their communities.

Acara Health Care is a certified CLASS provider in Austin. We work with individuals and families to understand the program, assess eligibility, and access services.
