Heya beautiful loves. Sharing a tool that helps me...I lost my grandma under extraordinary conditions a couple of days ago.
I chose to color and celebrate her life, rather than fall apart. Creating beauty out of a mess, always helps me to stop my mind from doing that loop that takes us to dark places!
Sharing what I posted on my personal wall, in hopes it helps someone today. Put on an amazing song, talk, silence... and play, I can attest to its power! ππ§ββοΈπ
Dear Grandma,
As the doctors and nurses keep you comfortable, having removed your life support, I can only imagine how lonely you are, wondering why your family isnβt by your side.
Tonight, as I hold you in my heart, coloring wellsprings of joy, Iβm remembering you - only your light, your innocence...your laughter and grace. You paid a high price for your freedom and suffered more heartache than anyone will ever know, I honor your strength, and your ability to hold your head high, with true dignity and respect.
I pray for your angels to greet you, when you gently release, and as your golden wings take flight...may our hearts hold together forever in no time, as you take your last breath and fly sweetly, into Godβs Colorful Rainbow.
I love you sweet Grandma. ππββοΈπ§ββοΈπ
