Hi Beautiful Clients,

We have some news to share at Nurse Karen Skincare.

After two and a half wonderful years with the team, Esthetician Laken, will be leaving us to begin nursing school. While I knew this day was coming for the past year, I am so sad to see her go. I could not be more proud of her for taking this next step. Her kindness, hard work, and care for clients have meant so much, and I know she is going to do amazing things in the medical field.

As I wish her the very best, we are also so excited to officially welcome Nurse Barbie to the team!

Nurse Barbie has been training closely with us over the past month to ensure a seamless transition and the same level of care, comfort, and experience you know and love at Nurse Karen’s. She has sixteen years experience as a nurse, and we cannot wait for you to meet her.

If you have an upcoming appointment, Nurse Barbie will be by my side assisting or if you are due for a visit, you will be able to book with Nurse Barbie skincare and injectables. We are confident you will feel right at home in her care.

If your pigment is being “kept at bay” but never truly improving, it might not be that your serums aren’t good — it may be that there are deeper triggers involved 🤍 Internal health, inflammation, hormones, and even heat can keep pigment activated no matter how many topicals you use. Things like hot environments, intense workouts without protection, saunas, steam, and excessive sun/heat exposure can all stimulate melanocytes and make discoloration linger or rebound.
