This small town in the desert highlands of Mexico has no doctor, and no homeopath. This summer my daughter and I traveled there.

Meet Brenda, the newest lay homeopath of her town. I brought her a 50 remedy 200c acute kit, showed her how to use it and helped her get a small Apothecary set up to preserve the remedies.

When I visit there, I see clients, who come in on horseback down from the mountains to see a “doctora”. I see them for dyspepsia, back pain, grief, menopause, headaches….our small kit can perform miracles.

Brenda observed, took notes and now knows enough to be the first to bring homeopathy to her remote town.

A diagnosis can tell us what is happening but it doesn’t always tell us how this particular person experiences it.

The Sensation Method invites us to listen beyond the surface symptoms: to patterns, sensations, reactions, and the deeper experience of the individual.

This becomes especially valuable in complex cases, where there may be many diagnoses, layers of history, and years of treatment.

After more than a decade of navigating PANS, this family had tried almost everything psychiatric medications, functional medicine, dietary changes, and IVIG.

But when their functional medicine doctor recommended adding homeopathy, they weren’t sure what to expect.

Then, slowly, they began noticing changes.

✨ More clarity
✨ Better cognition and recall
✨ Improved overall well-being
✨ The ability to recognize and address flares earlier

Eventually, with guidance from their care team, their daughter began tapering off IVIG. Today, they share that she has been IVIG-free for six months.

Every year, I return to this beautiful place in San Miguel de Allende, the site of what I believe was the first homeopathic hospital in Mexico, dating back to 1871.

There’s something powerful about remembering where our medicine came from, honoring those who came before us, and carrying that legacy forward. 🤍

Homeopathy has a beautiful history and this place reminds me just how deep it runs. 🌿

What if we’ve been asking the wrong questions?

Instead of asking why did this happen? Or what went wrong?

What if we were to ask…what is the message of this particular genetic expression?
Like us who are here to unlock our own DNA through the evolution to Higher Consciousness…what if people with frequently occurring genetic patterns are here for a reason?
To teach us something…what if their extra chromosomes are holding information we need that is valuable to our collective evolution?

What if we honored their presence on the planet and asked ourselves deeply curious questions about the nature of what it means to be human?

Raising a child who is different is a deep Soul Journey for those who choose to make it so.

I walk this path with parents around the world in my practice….and this has led me through darkness to greater questions about the nature of existence.

Today, more than 17 years later, I’m grateful to walk alongside families navigating complex health journeys especially children with special needs, learning differences, genetic anomalies, and Down syndrome. My daughter continues to be one of my greatest teachers, and she is the reason I became the practitioner I once needed.

I believe that our greatest challenges often become our greatest purpose.

My own healing journey didn’t just change my health, it transformed my life, my work, and the way I care for others.

What if the challenge isn’t what you’re doing... but what you believe you’re missing?
